Dion Waiters to the Heat.

Phew! Thank goodness. We don't need Rondo nor Crawford either. Let's hope they find homes elsewhere. While losing next season won't result in a high draft pick, playing old dudes major minutes to win a few extra games won't help develop the young guns on the Lakers.

Clarkson and Hart at the 2 will work just fine.

I wonder if the Lakers can take on 1 year contacts that people don't want for draft picks. (I'm hearing some teams trying to move people to sign FA)

They could help the Celtics sign Hayward by absorbing one of their multi-million dollar role player's salaries - Smart, Rozier, Crowder. Celtics might need to attach a late first rounder to drop one of these contracts (to create more cap space for Hayward).

Speaking of, the Celtics have now made acquiring PG13 a bit more difficult having filled their cap space and losing a trade piece/asset within the next couple days.

I actually like Waiters.

JCrossover would be a great 6th man but he's getting old.

Can't wait until Summer League starts so I can see if Ball will lead the Lakers to the playoffs this season (per Lavar).

One game is a worthless sample size from which to judge Ball's value. However, this game did demonstrate some my concerns about Ball. He likes jackin' 3s from well beyond the arc, and in the halfcourt offense he can seem way too passive - almost like he's unsure of what he should be doing.

I preferred Fox to Ball, and while Fox missed the three 3s he took, consistent with the only concern about Fox, everything else about his game was awesome last night: 18 pts, 3 rebs, 4 asts, 5 stls, 1 blk, all in 27 minutes. Fox will be awesome, even if he only shoots 25% from three.

Not to poke Laker fans in the eye twice, but Josh Jackson had a great game too. This draft continues to look like a generational draft, like the 2003 LeBron draft. I'm just hoping we're not the team who selected Darko second in that draft.  :-X
