Lakers News

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Cp3 and Blake opt out and are free agents.

If the clips keep the core 3 (cp3, blake, dj)
I think LBJ might to the Clips vs the Lakers.

agreed.  Plus, goes back to making that GS Clips rivalry real.

Then add Wade since he's on a one year in Chicago.

Put that banana boat crew together.

Not saying PG13 is like Kobe or Westbrook, the point is it's hard for young players to shine in the shadow of an all-star, esp if they play the same position.

Again, only one ball on the court at a time. That's why when I play with Homie, I defer to him. :)

Lavar took his shirt off last night on WWE. Lol

Lavar was hilarious, but it's his son that's going to hurt the brand more.

Lamelo was using the N-word (live TV) when Lavar was doing his shirtless kung-fu poses... WWE had to issue an apology about it.

Apparently, Lavar told the middle brother Gelo that he's not going to make it in the NBA.  But he did also tell him that he'll be taken care of financially regardless.

I'm starting to think Lavar is actually a pretty good dad.

LaVar Ball called, "The black father that's around way too much," in a joke from @Drake at NBA Awards.

The hate between old Celts and old Lakers is real:

Larry Bird is gonna seriously fight sending an All Star to the Lakers, even if we were offering "fair" value for an All Star with an expiring contract ("fair" in this context might mean DLo and a Laker albatross contract for PG13).

I love how PG13's camp continues to destroy his trade value. No different than CP3, PG13 is telling the Pacers, and everyone else, he will play for the Lakers, whether it be this year, or next. "You don't have to trade me to the Lakers, or even trade me at all. I'm just letting all potential acquirers know my intent and desire."

Let's get this done Indy. You know you want this saga over. You're not going anywhere, even in the weak East, as constructed with PG13. Just take Clarkson, the LONG Hoosier Thomas Bryant, and our 2019 first round pick, protected if it falls 1-3. That's fair, considering the full context here. Get'r done!

At this point, who is going to give the best offer for a one year rental.  The pacers will go with that.  So far, Houston wants to do it I hear.. who else?  Be interesting if the formers celtics do us in again.. freaking KG saga!

Breaking News: Paul George traded to OKC!!!!!  >:(

What's the probability PG13 stays in OKC? 5%? Good move by OKC though. Sabonis has a ton of potential, but that extension they gave to Oladipo was terrible. When PG13 walks, or he's traded by the deadline, at least they achieved jettisoning Oladipo and his bad deal (think Mozgov).

What's the probability we awake tomorrow like we did last year on July 1st, and say, "WTF!!! Mozgov? You cannot be serious!?!"

Kudos to Magic and Pelinka though. I feared they'd give the 2019 first rounder AND Randle for PG13. That would've been insane.

Congrats are due to Larry Bird too. He kept PG13 away from the Lakers who offered more than the vastly over-paid Oladipo and the marginal prospect Sabonis.

This gives us a reprieve for a few months at least. Before the trade deadline though, OKC might shop PG13 depending on their position.

Worked out well. I feared he would go to Boston. OKC gives us great to sure chance hes coming. Hope OKC trades us to him for Deng. Lol
