Winning!!!! Nothing to see here, move along.

Florida saw 20,194 COVID-19 cases Tuesday, according to Miami Herald calculations of state data reported Wednesday to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

This is the largest single-day increase of newly reported cases since Aug. 28, when 21,189 were reported. Cases have now reached the record-breaking days of the delta variant in August ? when more than 20,000 new daily cases were reported several times, according to Herald calculations.

Cause other places are doing just as well as us if not better without mask mandates or vax mandates.  My point of virus gotta virus stands.

The faster omicron infects people the faster this shit will be over.
You can have protection when it comes, or you cannot...up to you.

One...so? Out of how many infected? You have a better chance of dying in a car accident while being eaten by a shark on a Tuesday...I like those odds.

No it wasn't...we were talking about Florida (that death was in Texas) and in Florida...as in 49 other states right now...there is not one death from Omicron.  Context Eye.

Did you read the John Hopkins link? Who is doing better than Cali?

You keep dumping on Newsom yet stuff seems to be working... and not talking about vaccinations... just overall safety like masks, social distancing and being able to do things outdoors unlike other states.

The only point you are making is morekaos gonna moremislead.

I did. This week?. others are very close, it?s not that significant unless you are New York. Next week we will be worse than some?point is, it doesn?t matter.  Virus gonna virus.

huh....

America's biggest vaccine holdouts aren't Republicans - they're young people who think COVID only poses a risk to the elderly, new data analysis finds
Lehigh University professor Anthony DiMaggio says despite reports blaming Republicans for holding out on vaccines, partisanship isn't the biggest factor
This contradicts comments from some Democratic leaders and political pundits
Instead, DiMaggio said vaccine hesitancy is divided by age, with those younger than 65 less likely to get the jab than their elderly counterparts
Although politics does play somewhat into a person's decision-making on vaccines, it's not the most telling consideration, DiMaggio's research found
Mayo Clinic vaccination data backs his assertion; it shows a plunge in percentage points for each age group below 65
He said the analysis suggests younger Americans have 'discounted the dangers of COVID-19, viewing it as something that only threatens the elderly'

Tell me you can?t read a chart without saying you can?t read a chart.

Yeah that makes purple font look like he's spreading faky shit.
looks like we should not accept dailymail submissions.

Well if one reads the article instead of just the title they would see the conclusion is the USA has a major anti-vax problem because basically anyway you want to  group, they are not vaccinated like 80 year old democrats.

Ok?how about Salon??they are a right wing bastion?

Who are the vaccine holdouts? America's real COVID divide might not be what you think
Are the unvaccinated mostly Republicans, evangelicals and Fox News viewers? I crunched the data: The answer is no

It is scientific that younger people got affected less so nothing wrong with the graph. It is more worrisome 80% of young leftists are vaccinated/brainwashed

By the way NBA just shortens the quarantine period from 10 days to 6 days. The league is having an outbreak threatening the season despite these young and fit athletes are mostly vaccinated. 10 days to 6 days is the real science! Trust the science! Don't question it!

Why do you make posts like these?

Has nothing to do being a young fit athlete... they have more exposure to others than normal people just by the nature of their profession... "Sorry... can't guard your 3 because of social distancing."

So even with vaccinations... they have a much higher chance of infection than you or I.

Your post has no point.

How many deaths?....0?  Who cares?

Unvaccinated Houston man?s death may be first attributed to omicron in U.S.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/12/21/us-omicron-coronavirus-death-first-reported/

?back to 0?.

Harris County public health officials did not say that the patient died from the Omicron variant of COVID. Rather, he died after testing positive for the Omicron variant. In fact, Harris County Public Health Department spokesperson Martha Marquez confirmed this.

"We can't confirm that the patient [died] from COVID, but we can say that he was Omicron-positive at the time of his death," Marquez clarified. "This information comes from our epidemiologists, who are the ones who get the reports. They have to do a very meticulous investigation, because, you know, they do take this very much at heart."
"They are telling me that they cannot say that COVID was the absolute cause of death," Marquez confirmed.

Harris County public health officials said that the man had "underlying conditions," a state which so many more other COVID deaths have been attributed to.

Is this pre print scientific paper really saying for people who have two shots more than 90 days ago, but no booster yet, are more susceptible to the Omnicron variant (cough negative effectiveness) than the unvaccined?
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.12.20.21267966v2?s=09

So this means once you are inoculated, you need to regularly get a shot to keep it up...what a good business model.
