Not really... most of your posts (of which there are many) talk about how ineffective vaccinations and masks are which is not proven by the data. If not for vaccinations and masks, the infection rate would be much higher, hospitals would be overrun and it would be much worse than the surges we have seen.
Majority of people in ICUs are unvaccinated... that statistic alone should tell you about the efficacy of vaccinations.
As for masks, they have been around before Covid and their effectiveness is common sense, just like social distancing and hand washing... but your posts deride mask mandates which is such an easy rule to follow especially in public indoor settings where you will only be for short periods of time (since you are so concerned about oxygen intake).
It's simple, if a mask prevents only 50% of outgoing viral load and 50% of incoming viral load, you have reduced your chances by 75%. That's much better than no one wearing masks at all. Maybe the math makes more sense to you?
I'm with you on not forcing vaccinations, but in lieu of that, you need to test and wear masks and observe safety protocols.
I'm not with you on using rhetoric to say masks and vax are not effective.
This is a reasonable train of thought... but there will never be zero doubt for anything.
The one thing is the side effects / long term effects from Covid are worse than side effects from the vaccine for the majority of the population... so I recommend the safer route.
That's personally how I feel, I would much rather take the chance with any side effects of the vaccine than catching Covid and being one of those people with long haul Covid symptoms like morekaos and his dementia (just kidding).
Starting this time next week, everyplace is basically everywhere else.
By the way, Trump is pro vaccine but pro choice (anti mandate), that is certainly not as far right as Calbears want you to believe.
If there is zero doubt on the safety of vaccine, and vaccine has much better efficacy, I will be more leaning toward pro mandate as it is probably the most efficient way to end the pandemic.

Exactly. You make your choice and decide vaccine is better for you. Some people who are young and low risk, or having COVID a couple times with only mild symptoms probably want to trust their immune system more. No need to have a blanket requirement.

AFAIAC, we?re at endemic. The Government should write recommendations for stores, restaurants and events based on community spread levels. Then the stores, restaurants can decide if they want to observe or not.

You are asking my personal medical information so why cant i ask yours? Someone said it is ok for FDA to lock the vaccine safety and efficacy data for 75 years to protect patients medical information but I guess that doesn't apply to vaccination status?
