Friday Update:

This week's loss: 1 measely lb.  ???

Total loss since 4/10: 10 lbs. + a few oz. Yay!

I want to keep the mojo going since hitting this first milestone so I plan to avoid restaurant dining on Mother's Day this weekend. Instead, I'll take the boys out to a place they've been wanting to go that is fun for them and involves playing, walking, standing i.e. calorie burning (name omitted.)

Ugh, Friday frustration. After being really good all week, nada.

Well, you've been really good (except that trip to Lucille's?) so maybe it just hasn't shown up on the scale yet! Scoot it around the bathroom floor a little until it cooperates.

Can I update on a Thursday? :) .5lbs down! Why is it important? This is where I flat lined last fall..

Nice job, CZ. Even if you don't lose another ounce, being at your lowest is still a happy time.

Yea, I was really bad at lunch that day, but ate very sensibly for breakfast and had a very light dinner. Plus did 60 minutes of walking and 30 minutes of pushing it cardio at the gym.  Ironically, I did end that day only a little over my planned Calorie allotment.

Mother's day.. apple and pear brownies served with a dollop of "original" vanilla ice cream. Serving size? I have no clue.. I ate like I deserved it :) My scale is not broken. This morning it danced around and pointed in a whole new direction. Number barrier broken.. to the dark side. Of course it's all water weight :)

I refuse to weigh myself until Friday. I refuse to weigh myself until Friday. I refuse to weigh myself until Friday...

I weigh myself right after binge eating.. motivates to lose the water weight before I get all comfortable..

She will reply "Costco" in 3...2...

Recipe is Costco recipe book that they give to members the day after thanksgiving, baked by darling daughter, whole wheat and brown sugar substituted appropriately, toffee chips from Trader Joes  8) I will take a picture of the recipe tomorrow and post it. It's soooo good  :-*

CZ, that's so sweet! I forgot she is old enough to know how to bake by herself now.

If you are up for sharing the recipe, I will take it. The original full fat, full sugar, full calorie version, please.  :) Warm a'la mode is a good idea.

Here is the recipe. I don't like cutting on butter, but I do sub whole wheat/ brown sugar in almost everything that I make. Brown sugar tastes better :)

Have you tried freezing the dough?  The recipe is for a 9x9 pan making 9 servings, each of 3x3 inches.  I wonder if the dough freezes up okay or if the fruit gets too mushy.

I crunched the ingredients and from a calorie count, it's really not that bad, but having an entire pan sitting there would be doom.

What was the calorie count? If it's handy, please do share.
Yes, entire pan sitting there is just doom. I try to buy desserts in single serves. Better than wondering where to cut, or how much to scoop. Freezing.. never tried! I think next time I will ask her cut the recipe in half- then it's only 4.5 servings, between the four of us we should be fine with .5 extra serving :)
