That's it. I am out of here. I am moving to India!

"Pressure from husbands for the wives to be more voluptuous has lead some women to pills such as Practin, an antihistamine that stimulates appetite and which costs just 19p for 10, and Betnesol, a corticosteroid for allergies which can cause weight gain."

Click for article: Indian women taking dangerous 'fat pills' to GAIN weight and emulate curvy Bollywood stars

i watched this show called VICE on HBO last night and one of their stories was about this country in west africa where the women force feed at night to gain weight to get a husband.  they mentioned how skinny girls looked sick.  another story they covered were the slums of Mumbai - i could not believe what i was watching.  i forget the name of the slum, something like Daravi. they said there was one running toilet per 1,400 people. crazy.

Qwerty - I think I may have seen that documentary if it aired previously or else it was a similar one. It showed how the women in Africa sat in huts for weeks leading up to their wedding day. They gorged themselves on full-fat milk with the hopes of looking as "big and beautiful" as possible on their special day. Also, if they were fat (i.e. not starved in a country where food is more scarce), they were looked at as a fertility goddess - the most feminine thing possible. It was considered attractive because biologically, they have the best chances of sustaining a healthy baby.

Btw, I wonder why these Indian ladies are turning to dangerous pills for weight gain. Haven't they heard of doughnuts?!!?

I didn't walk for a couple of days.. thanks for the reminder :)
But eating clean, haven't had junk in a couple of days. Today's lunch was spicy quinoa and edamame with greek yogurt.. breakfast was an Indian dish made with oat groats. If not anything, I think I might be on path to write a cook book :P

I think I've posted several times detailing my progress... I lost 100 lbs... remember?

Summary: Same old.

Do you think it's time to switch things up a little bit to enhance the progress? Given the right tools, it is very much within your reach. Keep going. Iho, if I can do it, anybody can do it. I am the worst out there when it comes to willpower. Trust me on this one - just try using a calorie app on your phone. It will change your life.

IHO DOES NOT DIET... IHO MAD!!!!

Yeah... just trying to eat less bad stuff, smaller portions... and trying not to eat after 6pm (I used to do that when I was playing football... not because I was trying to lose weight, but after practice I would hit the bed and not wake up until morning).

How is that working out for you?

Some days are just very bad. I counted calories yesterday. Oh, I counted alright... all the way up to 2,571!  ???

We all have hard days. Bad days are A-OK. Just don't let them turn into bad weeks. Get up and get back on the horse the next day.

I had an eating spree yesterday afternoon. But I have gone too far with this healthy eating and thrown out all things I want to binge on. Result? Other than strawberries and apples and peanuts, there was nothing I could eat :) Get on the good side as fast as you can. When you are in for a long term, there will be good days and there will be bad days..

Even though the pantry is void of temptation, you're still doing a good job holding back since you are not hitting up the drive-thru! That would have been my Plan B.  :)
