LOL, sorry for the confusion.  I'm 1lb above my beginning March weight.  :-[

Then using the NSR system of measurement...  I've lost at least 100lbs... the same 2-3 lbs every day.

Don't forget you weekly update tomorrow! How are things going? Still in the same routine? Noticing any changes? Progress since March?

Yes I have noticed changes.  I've been perpetually sick.  Seriously, 50% of the time.  Sinus, cold, one day stomach bug, week long recovery, back to normal, good for a week, allergy sinus stuffy head, back sick, it's more yo-yo than the weight.  Plus our toddler has been having some sleep challenges so if it's not sick, it's no sleep.  Neither of which is good for eating or exercising.

Can I e-pinch you for taking us ladies for a ride?  >:(
Does the toddler go to a day care, or he has a nanny? Nannies sometimes let kids enjoy long naps. How are his eating habits? Is he eating well during dinner time?

We've had a number of dinner challenges and suspect the sinus/allergy med has been wiring him up.  We're switching, not sure what to do as the allergies cause him a stuffy nose and sneezing which keeps him awake.  Not likely a nap problem, we've addresses that so no late naps/long naps.

Well now, isn't that interesting.

Being frustrated today with my total lack of improvement, I've been piddling around with Calorie counters and WW Point Trackers.  I've previously tried WWPP when my wife did it so I could be supportive.

Let's just say, I got a stunning amount of points.  In fact, I could eat pretty carelessly if I was reasonable on my choices and still stay in points if I got my 10,000 steps in.

Well today, I plugged the info into myfitnesspal.  It gave me my calorie target.  A hefty target of calories.  So I plugged in breakfast, lunch (was bad for lunch, Chipotle Salad and chips), planned dinner and TV snack for tonight. Not bad, within 1% of calorie target.

Here's the catch, I plugged the same info into WW...  it said I still had 1/3rd of my food points remaining without any bonus exercise points.

WTH. >:D

Eat clean, don't stop at vending machine (those things are pure evil! Somebody sue them!) and count calories to make sure you are eating balanced. Stay active. Rest will follow.

I have an experiment planned for this weekend.  Mainly because this morning I had pure joy.  I like my coffee blonde.  And in the interest of saving calories have been using fat free half and half.  Well, looking at the label, I'm not sure the health benefits of cutting the dairy fat are outweighed by the health disadvantages of the other stuff (corn syrup, and the litany of unpronounceable trace elements).

What I've noticed is I use a lot of the FFHH, a lot more than the plain HH I used to use.  And since I had real cream in the fridge leftover from the hash we made last night, I tried it.  Real cream in the coffee.  Pure bliss.  Just a tiny little pour and the cup has the mouth texture, satisfying fullness and taste I like.  Then I wondered, how much did I use?  Cream is 50 cals per tbls.  FFHH is 20 cals per 2 tbls.  I guesstimate I used 1/2 tbls of real cream and the FFHH could be anywhere from 2 tbls to 4 tbls. Probably closer to 2 because I know I'm pouring a lot and cut it.

It's like the old french paradox.  They eat rich, but stay satisfied and hence actually healthier.

So my experiment this weekend.  Yes, that's right, multiple cups of coffee and a measuring spoon to test cream, half and half and fat free half and half.    Maybe I'll start buying the mini-moos again so I get consistent on my input.

I never got used to cream in my coffee. Always used 1/4 cup of 1% or 2% milk.. I did switch to Almond milk for sometime- wasn't worth it. Back to brewing my lattes.
NSR- your experiment will work. Just make sure you add cream to coffee, not coffee to cream ;-)

NSR likes his coffee blonde.

I like mine dark, strong, slightly exotic, and full-bodied. Never bitter and not too much bite.

CZ, how do you like yours--- quick! Write a thriller / character sketch about this one.  :D

I take a look at the blonde and wonder what is it that NSR likes.. Color, too pale. Strength, diluted. This will never work, I tell myself and walk to the tall woman at the end of the bar. There is something about her eyebrows. Or is it what she holds? Dark. Strong. Exotic. Not my type, but I am attracted. I walk to empty seat next to her, lean over to the bar, look into the green eyes of my barista and tell him to give me what I want..creamy vanilla-flavored syrup, freshly steamed milk with a topping of velvety-rich foam, an intense hit of Espresso Roast, a finishing of buttery caramel drizzle.. He agrees, and charges me the usual.

"You must be from Irvine", she says, "because a Foothill Rancher would just ask for a Caramel Machiato, pay half of what you paid for the custom order and still get the same drink!". "Same in Tustin", says the man with blonde in his hands, and they high-five..and laugh..

I run away from there, screaming "I am special, my drink is special", and bump into the Austrian at the door..still waiting for his order of blend of sugar free triple venti, no foam, with whipped caramel mixed with two portions of argentinian decaf and belarusian non-decaf topped with vanilla powder garnished with kotolotta style caramel drizzle with just a hint of espresso..

"I am waiting since 2009" he says "for that order, and they said the economic conditions will force this brewer of exotic coffees to make my custom drink for the price of the cheapest drink on the menu".

So, what do you guys do with all of your "fat clothes" once you are too small for them? Keep them just in case or get rid of them and never look back?
