Love the enthusiasm.

I?m with you on the nightlife; no question the OC has the hottest chicks around.

Check out Sutra on Sat. night, the place delivers.

Eh, Sutra has been getting crappier and crappier over the years imo. I loved the food, and miss the blueberry filet mingon. Don't miss the fights and the almost-fights with asshole bouncers. Plus if memory serves, their scotch selection kinda sucks. Your best bet to find me is at a table in tentation or chillin at muldoons when I'm feeling extra thirsty.

what do i love about irvine?

it's clean

home to office less than 4 miles

parking - no mad dash to feed the meter or move your car from a major street by 4:00 pm

no police helicopters hovering and lighting up your neighbors yard

no news/entertainment helicopters hovering over the theatre (i lived near the arclight). although i will say the star wars crowd refusing to believe that the news that the movie would not be opening at the arclight, dressed in costume, were pretty entertaining. i was especially fond of the rollskating chewbacca and stormtrooper.

no parking enforcement giving tickets every 10 minutes for not having a front license plate

dedicated left-hand turn lanes and arrows

it's clean

Welcome back Ten! Recovered from last week yet? Chelsea choked pretty hard against Man U. You HAD that game in the bag.

HS is only trying to illustrate that you just can not ignore the Mexican consumers. They are the populations who in an intergral component of our economy. HS was only in illustrating some professions that interact with the Mexican population and did not name specific ethnicity in the helms of these professions.

</blockquote>

Well, maybe the best thing to do would be to leave race out of these discussions. I've never made it a big issue in my life. I went to IHS and never really thought about it at all. It wasn't until I visited the midwest that I realized how cool it was that I had such a diverse group of peers and friends.

Irvine is diverse, thats great. For some reason its hard for me to think about it in any other terms then that, since i've been a child I've had neighbors and friends from all softs of different ethnic backgrounds.

To get us back on track:

I *really* like the village design of Irvine, with each village having a shopping center. I live a pretty busy lifestyle and its great having a nearby market and restaurants. The fact that Irvine is a stone's throw from newport is great too. A ten minute drive gets me to some of the better nightlife in orange county!</blockquote>

The grass is always greener on the other side. I loved what you just described regarding the Arclight neighborhood. The best thing is being Troopers' neighbor.

Look, I?m with you on the numerous hot and getable babes that frequent Sutra on Saturdays but scotch.

Not that I have any problem with it, but there?s no way you?ll land any hot babes at Sutra drinking that stuff.

Seriously, switch it up.

Start double-fisting cocktails filled with that magical elixir also known as the Goose.

Drinking scotch sends out the wrong message.

The hot chicks that go there aren?t interested in a guy quoting Plato, wearing dockers and sipping scotch.

Think of me as Phil Jackson during a timeout.

Diagramming a play, helping you make those minor adjustments that eventually lead to a glorious victory.

You?ll thank me later

Ha, that's a riot...with the extra side benefit of being true.

Hahaha. Man, you almost have me pegged. Except its sipping scotch wearing replay and quoting Augustine. No reason to order a goose cocktail because a magnum of it is on the table.

Your teachings are wise though.

I'm sure we can ll agree that while irvine is great, its night live is rather depressing if you confine yourself to the city and a night out bar hopping at the spectrum is a rather pathetic (and depressing) experience.

Vicstah,

Kudos, all the credit and accolades go to you.

Excellent call on the United win over Chelsea.

Not only did Man U beat Chelsea to win the Prem title but won the Champions League final as well.

So disappointed and devastated with the way the season ended for my Blues.

To make matters worse, I talked a ton of trash not only to you but many others.

Coming back this week has been a total nightmare.

Sorry, I forgot to invite you to the Yard House yesterday where I paid off my debts.

Thankfully, the Lakers won!

I was going to drop you a line but didn?t want to crash Pete?s Bike Thread again.

The crown, throne, and glory are all yours until next year!

The Spectrum can be hit or miss.

The Yard House was on fire yesterday.

Great turnout for the Laker game, tons of babes.

Unfortunately, I lost a bet, see my comments to Vicstah above.

Went to Javiers for Cinco de Mayo and had an epic time.

Hoardes of drunk chicks everywhere, felt like Spring Break.

Tenmagnet. I can't be the only one who is getting somewhat tired of reading about drunk babes, drunk chicks and scoring. C'mon. :shut:

Sorry you don?t approve or can?t relate.

There are a lot of threads, comments, and people that I don?t relate to either.

No problem whatsoever, just be yourself.

You shouldn't change, nor will I.

That's what this blog is all about

I agree - it's getting old. It's not a dialogue - it's just high school talk about the last drunken night and what "hot" chick was scored. Maybe Facebook or Myspace would be a better fit.

Sorry old timer, but deep down I know you don?t really mean that.

Maybe if I was old and under-achieved in life, I?d feel the same way as you.

You have your passion and interests (Gold, etc..) and I have mine.

I don?t knock or comment on your interests, even though I can?t relate one bit.

Maybe if you hopped back into your Delorean and punched in 2008 rather than 1985, you?d be able to relate with me.

Then again, like I commented to Trooper, be yourself and I?ll take care of me.

Unfortunately, you?re missing the point.

Point being, I?m not trying to relate with you.

Just like your posts do not relate to me.

It?s a very simple concept, just skip over the comments like I do.

Complaining and whining will get you nowhere, nothing will change.

Thank you!

You managed to pull that out of the title "Irvine Housing Blog"?!? Scoring may be your talent, but clearly reading comprehension is not.

Thanks for the compliment.

Still not quite Kobe or Lebron James, but working at it daily.

I am appreciative, thank God each and every day for blessing me with talent and passion.

You see the fire in my eyes, quick get that fire extinguisher.

This city can use a parade.

Insert (Fist Pump), this is our season Eva!

I realize this may seem strange coming from me, but I actually feel bad for tenmagnet right now.

No, this cannot be translated to "undress me with your eyes." :coolhmm:

Wow, I can't believe I am going to be the one help set the screen for Tenmagnet here, but when you see someone who keeps gets his shots blocked you gotta come in to help get his game back.

Relax people, he is just having fun. At least that is the way I look at it. And, this is coming from me, who wants to eat panda for dinner because of stupid question annoyance. I chose not to take him seriously and have fun with it, and if you don't want to read his posts then skip them or use the ignore button. But, despite his penchant for goose, AF, True Religion jeans, lame English soccer, bromance with Ipop, and his one redeeming quality of being a Laker fan, he has asked some very good questions in the past, and has be very appreciative back to the person who has answered his question. I suggest you all go back and look at some of his posts, while he may be on the too much of that OC stereotype side, many of the questions he has asked have been on the same level as anyone else here, and much better than any panda could ever come up with.

One thing I can say for him is at least I have never posted the search button picture for him.

I will now go back to my go-go cage. Oh... and Ten, you are slipping, get with the new music. It is a Missy Higgins concert, not Tori Amos/Sarah McLachlan. I will PM you the next time we go.

Seriously, this talk of going out is rediculous. We should just go back to talking about how much better Uni is compared to Woodbridge and/or the racial makeup of Irvine.
