Who cares to guess the next insult directed at Ninth Circuit judges now that they've ruled against Trump's Muslim Ban?
Did the 9th Cir rule against the EO, or just leave in place a TRO pending a final determination?

TRO stays in place and this will bubble up to the SCOTUS.

Maybe, just maybe, the problem is conservatives don't respect, nor wish to protect, the Constitution, and they have forgotten Korematsu v. United States, 323 U.S. 214?

LOL. I realize you don't like to answer simple questions.

Simple yes or no answer.

Do you believe in the pledge of allegiance to the United States of America?

Do you stand up and respect the national anthem?

Why would this matter to you? Is this some kind of grade-school patriotism test?

And you didn't even specify which version of the Pledge of Allegiance - the original or the one after "under God" was added.

You should also ask if he has ever given money to the ACLU or Planned Parenthood. And if he goes to a "proper" conservative Christian church.

Oh, ask him if he dodged the draft like our current President. Or if he has ever spent 7.5 years trying to undermine the legitimacy of an elected President.

Since you brought it up. How about yourself?

Why won't you say why you are asking?

I notice a lot of Trump supporters on here ask questions but don't say why they are asking, don't answer the questions themselves, and don't answer my questions when I ask.

If you read the conversation Perpective and I had. Then you will understand why I asked the question. I asked you the question because you entered into the conversation and made a comment.  ;)

My understanding is, they rule against the executive order. Trump, et al. will now decide whether to appeal to the Supreme court. But it is going to be an uphill battle. It seems like the best will be a 4-4 split and the 9th circuit court ruling prevails.

This is a typical example that when you keep pounding on the same talking point, enough uneducated people will believe it. People revoke Trump and paint him as a racist and banning Muslim. Show me where the ban mentions Muslim?

I re-read the conversation and I still don't understand. Can you please clear it up for me?

This is going to the SC...we will prevail there.  Mark my words.
You might need a tiebreaker judge...  Trump has been irritating the judge that he nominated.  Not sure how that will affect the tie-breaking vote.

Guys be thankful this country still has functioning courts which can oppose a sitting president who happens to be a whacko.  Grateful that we are not an Emerging Market dictatorship just yet.

I think in a perverse way, the silver lining in the election of this real estate hustler is a  much needed jolt  for our democracy .    People who were sitting on the sidelines are now finally engaged and asserting their rights.  No one can take this republic for granted.

That being said. Do you think Hillary is a better candidate? (Cough, cough)

Obama signed just as many excecutive orders, so is he a whacko or dictator? Well, you can celebrate now. I have faith the constitution will be uphold when SC rules. This is why so many people voted for Trump. Gorsuch is needed badly.

My ignorant self thinks that Trumps executive order on the ban is more valid than many of the other executive orders we have seen.

The number of executive orders shouldn't matter.  They exist for a reason.  IMO the content of the executive orders matters.

I agree that it felt like the way Obama used executive orders set up a bad precedent for future presidents.  Sadly, we pretty much knew that whoever got elected this year was going to take advantage of executive orders as much as possible.

more than half of trump voters support trump overturning judges - ha

living in newport beach / irvine area we highfalutin conservatives may convince ourselves that  we are all for constitution etc -- but this is the party now ... the party of trump.  that supports overturning constitutional law so long as their leader can get his way ... sound like a cult  ?

since we are all so tied and in love with our fancy neighborhoods and lofty home prices  -- lets not forget the most paramount factor in supporting asset valuations - rule of law and more importantly, stability of the system - where laws don't change on the whims of a single man (or woman).

I never liked obama's executive orders but atleast he didnt go out of his way to demonize the political and legal process.  In fact, Obamacare challenge did go all the way to the supreme court where justice Roberts ( a coservative, mind you) decided in favor of ACA.  Obama held his office to the highest standards throughout the process.

When you're labelling others uneducated, you should be very careful with your grammar. Otherwise, it provides humor for those reading your thoughts.

But do we know for a FACT that Trump just irritated the judge he wants for the supreme court? You never know what is in trump's head. MAYBE it was setup. MAYBE Trump and the judge are getting in the heads of the Dems...... hey this judge is an independent thinker and won't be swayed by Trump so I guess maybe it's ok to let this one on the court cuz who knows who we might see as Trump's next pick.

Hmmm........... an interesting strategy.

I am glad you found it entertaining reading my posts. I also find it humorous that you are not willing to answer yes or no questions.

Typical Perspective like responses.  Maybe try using another screen name to agree that you shouldn't have to answer such childish questioning.

I am very interested to see examples how President Trump going out of his way using executive orders to demonize the political, legal process. Please, let us know.

Obama held his office to the highest standards, here are a few glowing examples under his watch:
Traded Traitor Bergdahl for 5 Taliban terrorists + a Rose Garden ceremony
Obama said "not a smidgen of corruption" in the IRS targeting conservatives
Lois Lerner pleading the 5th for how many times?
Susan Rice talking points about Benghazi attack was a spontaneous act of violence
He paid $1.7 billion ransom to Iran for testing ballistic missiles
Veterans died while on waiting list to see doctors and the VA cover the medical records
Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats

I don't have time to further expand his resume.

Wow , you do have your Hannity down - great list of Fox News talking points.

But ... but .. email server ... but .... but Clinton foundation ... but .... Benghazi ... seems like a distant memory now doesn't it ? When this nitwit in the Oval Office kills 30 civilians and one US servicemember with nothing to show for it.

Wouldn't you trade the email server now for Mike Flynn selling state secrets to the Russian goon.

Wouldn't you trade Obama's supposed sin when he blamed Cambridge police for profiling a Harvard professor for the constant deluge of insults flowing out of Trump's mouth.

Keep convincing yourself that there is an equivalence , just so you can feel less guilty .  But it is obvious to anyone that the scandals and b/s happening now are way beyond anything that has gone in this country in our living lifetimes.  This cannot be normalized.
