Gotta take my Avalon in for warranty service already.  Driver power window's full auto is not working... maybe I should've gotten the Hyundai..  I hear electrical problems will never go away hopefully this won't be the case..

Just sell the car with about 6 months of warranty left on it.

Took the Avalon to the dealer this morning... dealer was able to reset the power window by holding it up for 5 seconds and down for 5 seconds.. he mentioned they should've done this when taking delivery of the car?  Hopefully this is the last of the problems..

Well.. I'm also in the market for a new vehicle... will probably start another thread to track where I am with my search.  Going to miss the M but I think it's time to move on.

that slope (from the top of the back windshield to the trunk) at the back of the car is kind of odd looking.

Grrr.. My new car is no longer new, noticed a small dent on the rear door...why are people so careless.. When living in a society...

They're not careless.  They just don't care.  They're just self-centered.  They know perfectly well what they're doing when they open the door their huge badly parked SUV and dent your car.  It's your fault for getting in their way.

I need approval from the better half first.  :P  But that will be my first choice!

You know you want a mini-van. Might as well prepare now before the kids start showing up. :)

At the NY Auto Show, Hyundai revealed the redesigned 2013 Santa Fe SUV... it seems they are really the new Toyota... but will be hard to convince the Mrs. to go "value" since she's already hooked on her current ride.

I?m trying to get the wife to go with the Tesla Model X
It may be a bit small though.

It does look weird, the c-pillar execution is much better on the 2013 Lexus ES:http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2013-lexus-es/#photo-4940614/

The cars shown at the NY Auto show were pretty impressive this year.... except for Honda.

wow - did lexus redo the ES for the 2013 model year? it actually looks quite sporty and i agree the c pillar is better executed their.

What's with that oversized lower grill?  Maybe the auto show cars have more chrome?  Rear reminds me of the Acura TL.  Side profile of the Lexus GS.  Wonder what the pricing will be like, higher and ur in Lexus/Acura territory.

I think the stage lights are making it appear like there is more chrome. The ES is all new for 2013, they will also release a hybrid version.

The Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe sport look great!
