In which case if I was a trumpeter I would begin to get concerned . Not as much though since because of voter suppression and gerrymandering Democrats have to overcome by More than 6 points to have any shot at winning .
In any case , 2016 may be a fluke , but if gop keeps power in two weeks (legitimately with no voting hacks etc) then it will say a lot about who we are as a country not just to all of us but to the entire world .
Then I predict states like CA and NY will start to take some radical steps in direction of ?states rights? and this will start the path towards even further division not just in views , but also laws and structures .
I actually think ? and you read it here first , the stock market will tank further if gop wins everything . I will explain why in one of the economic threads later.

I still can't believe I'm living through an era where we just accept a pathological liar as president with no consequences.
He speaks the language of Middle America - ie, Flyover Country, can understand, and lies and deceits they accepted it as as normal ways of life. The Dems better play the same game. When TRUMP lies, lies bigger. When TRUMP go low, go lower.

Are Republicans finally getting the message? Polls (notoriously inaccurate, as Hillary Clinton, MSNBC and The Young Turks can attest) that earlier showed Democrats taking the House -- and possibly even the Senate -- are now wobbling with less certainty. Some leftward-leaning pundits are even tacitly admitting that momentum seems to be moving in the Republicans' direction.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump completely made up a story about the New York Stock Exchange opening the day after the September 11 attacks.
In order to justify his decision not to cancel his campaign rally in rural Illinois the same day as a politically motivated massacre at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Trump invented a false story about the NYSE opening on 9/12.
?With what happened early today, that horrible, horrible attack in Pittsburgh, I was saying maybe I should cancel both this and that. And then I said to myself, I remembered Dick Russell, a friend of mine, great guy, he headed up the New York Stock Exchange on September 11th, and the New York Stock Exchange was open the following day,? Trump falsely claimed. ?He said ? and what they had to do to open it you wouldn?t believe, we won?t even talk to you about it. But he got that exchange open.?
But he did not get the stock market open.
In fact, as Bloomberg points out, the NYSE was closed for a full week, finally opening on September 17.

This is how trump defense by his supporters works ? So let?s say hypothetically ?- Trump ate a baby on live television at his rally in Des Moines.
Immediately the GOP responds by saying that it was not a real baby, it was a false flag baby, it was a Democratic baby, it was an immigrant baby, it was a member of MS-13 and ISIS. This baby is notorious and attacked Trump first. It was a socialist. At least Trump did not shoot the baby like that guy who shot Scalise. Trump has given more food to poor people than anyone.

You guys are the ones off the hook. Defended none of these kooks, just pointed out that there are kooks of all stripes, Can't trace it back to Bernie, or Trump or Hillary. Crazy is just crazy. I didn't revel in the Scalise shooter being a lefty, you shouldn't revel in bomber boy having a trump sticker truck. They are both just plain CRAZY.
