Amazing how many of the PAC TV ads for the D candidates (Newsom, Porter, Rouda, Hill) never use the term "Democrat". It's as if they are ashamed of the term. The same could be said about the R candidates avoiding "he who shall not be named" in their ads. Surprisingly I did hear a Yes on 10 ad saying it was "supported by the Democratic Party". At least they ad creator was honest about who is backing the initiative. No so with most other TV spots. One has to wonder how subterfuge became an accepted norm.
I can't wait until November 7th, no matter the outcome, so the level of BS flooding my mailbox, social media, and TV will end. Civility won't return - sadly, but true - however the ads thankfully will stop.... for about 6 months, then the 2020 race begins in earnest.
