I rarely agree with Nancy Pelosi but earlier this year, the House minority leader said this about the 2018 election: ?It comes down to an economic message. ? We have many other issues that we care about. We can?t do anything about them unless we win, and the winning message is an economic agenda.?
She should have taken her own advice. For months, Democrats have focused their central message on health care, but what they have failed to do is offer alternatives to actually fix the problems plaguing the health care system. Instead, they have aimed their rhetorical fire at Republicans, blaming the GOP for the continued rise in health care costs along with issues such as access and a state-based focus on pre-existing conditions.
What they haven?t done is offer a solution. In fact, Democrats are desperately trying to bridge what amounts to a huge divide on health care between the party?s ideological wings. Some are enthusiastically embracing a government-run approach ? Bernie Sanders? socialist ?Medicare for All? ? despite its $32 trillion price tag. Other Democrats, with at least a modicum of fiscal reality, have been less than enthusiastic about the Vermont senator?s single-payer solution but haven?t offered anything of real substance in its stead.

Why do you put a timer on a mail bomb? Mail bombs are meant to explode when opened by the addressee. How do you know when it will get there? With our mail system they probably would all blow up in the mail truck, Like i said, this just doesn't make a lot of sense.
You can say the same with US citizens, if you have some type of slight setback you might have to sell your house to cover the cost or declare bankruptcy.

Trump was suppose to replace Obamacare with something better. But he never did.
I send out light packages almost every day with my own postage. If it's under 13 ounces it can go out without taking it to the counter.
Somehow these packages made it to their destination without enough postage on them. The packages are too rigid and too thick to be classified as an envelope or large envelope and therefore are packages.
Packages have a minimum postage of $3.50 (up to 4 ounces) which means 6 forever stamps are not enough postage.
Even though I can give them to the postman, I take them in and have them scanned as accepted with a tracking label (which is free for first class packages).
The post office clerks know me and mostly just cancel my packages and give me a receipt with the scanned tracking but there are a couple that count every single stamp to make sure I have enough. Even if they don't count them, they do look at the package and would definitely know 6 forevers are $3.00.
These should have come back for insufficient postage or been hand delivered with the postman collecting the money for the shortfall.
So then, did the sender know they would likely be hand delivered or was she/he just stupid enough to not know the current postage rate?
And why did not one bomb go off? Were they not intended to explode?
And why did the post office not catch even one package as not having enough postage? They are sent thru a auto postage sorting machine and someone watches packages as they go by. I knew as soon as I saw the photo.......... not enough postage!
Forevers are going up to 55 cents in January, btw......... in case anyone thinks they are somehow a good "investment".... lol!

Speaking of health care costs, I have friends visiting me from another country for 10 days in the USA. I've told them to get the supplemental medical travel insurance in case they have a medical problem here. I've been seeing crazy medical bill stories for foreigners using emergency rooms here. They normally just run back to their home country w/o paying the $10,000 - $50,000 bill.

If you asked a liberal to imagine a bomb that a Trump supporter would build, this is it. Liberals have such contempt for the intelligence and education of Trump supporters that they would imagine such a bomb to be as crappy as the Trump supporter's intelligence is low.

It's not likely that many packages would have gone thru without being noticed as not having enough postage.

It sounds pretty fishy to me that these were intended to actually do any harm at all.
And investigate those forevers for even being genuine while you're at it, FBI.
