Huh ? Wasn?t all this supposed to be a giant nothingburger (or Popeyes fried chicken, whatever) . Below tweet almost seems like an admission of guilt.

Trump tweeting yesterday  ? ?The stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama Administration, not the Trump Administration. Why didn?t they do something about it, especially when it was reported that President Obama was informed by the FBI in September, before the Election??

Looking forward to their trials which will surely be on tv live!

A president with any allegiance to our flag , with even half a spine , would be asking for extradition of these criminals when he meets Putin next week.

I'm sure Putin would say "Sure thing!", all we need to do is ask!

Yeah goes without saying, no one is coming back here. thats not the point.  in diplomatic relations, this would give you some degree of leverage at least, if one is willing to use it.  Right now, its all bromance, all the time.  I am waiting to see what our comedians do with it after the meeting.

After reading the 22ish page indictment, some thoughts:

1) It's amazing what with Them Rooskies starting in ?Feb- March 2016? to infiltrate the DNC's networks how Time Lord Trump was able to revv up the TARDIS once he got the nomination in July and go back to get Them Rooskies to collude with him.

2) Haven't seen any techies here in TI who also read this comment on the nature of the hack spearfishing. Since this the readership of this blog and the commenters are of a tech heavy nature, some insight on the indictment would make for great reading. When a major film studio's system was overwhelmed - as the media and the government told us - by Best Korea, I had the privilege to speak to a tech person with direct "boots on the ground" knowledge of the attack. The indications I was given was that Best Korea had nothing to do with it. My suspicions are that the indicted Rooskies did NOT do as much as what is warranted based on my prior experience. Techies here may have deeper insight.

3) If the data in the indictment is truthful, frankly speaking: GREAT! It showed the DNC meddled in the 2016 election denying Bernie Sanders a fair and level playing field (Fully disclosure: I wanted a Bernie/Donald election contest) The leak showed that HRC had a homebrew server - one in which 30,000 emails went to a foreign actor (Not Them Rooskies BTW) - and that public business was being conducted by POTUS and the Attorney General via pseudonym accounts over unsecured networks (Gmail). No one seems to care about this for some reason. Ask yourself why.

4) If the data in the indictment is truthful, then it means the NSA's spying is also being aided by Google, FB, etc. For this level of detail to come into an indictment on the means of information gathering, this wasn't of "direct human capture" - inside spies. I've always assumed there is no such thing as privacy, but the 22 page indictment seems to cement this fact. If this level of data can be captured thousands of miles away, imagine what can be learned on the local level. That's scarier than Them Rooskies learning about wedding plans, risotto recipes, and yoga classes as the Left would have us believe those e-mails were all about.
