Have you ever been to Kansas?  I have family that just moved there (KC) because they could buy a 3,500 sq ft house in a prestigious golf neighborhood on a college professor's salary, while the other spouse stays at home.  Prior to that, my relative lived in a family property on the Balboa Peninsula.  Apparently, Kansas is paradise in their eyes.

It just means no one wants to live there.

I've been to Plano, TX where many Californians are currently settling and I don't really like it.  It's too bland with nothing to do (kind of like Irvine, but not quite as bad).  I would rather live in Kansas City, which has more culture and better nightlife.  I actually stayed there as a travelling musician when I was younger and we opened for a band called 2 Skinny J's from Brooklyn, New York.  They had their own comic book.

By percentage?  Of course...because the baseline is so low.  Go look at Kansas' state finances and economic numbers.  It's a disaster because Brownback wanted to make it into a Laffer state. 

Orange County is not a "nightlife/culture" area..it's a family and business area.  LA is the nightlife spot.

I've just heard about this on sports radio but I don't get it.

On one side, if you are invited to the White House, even if you disagree with the President, out of respect for the country, whose citizens pay your salary, you should still probably go. But, I respect you exercising your rights.

On the other side, why disinvite them? Be the bigger man, let the invitation stand, and if they don't take it... boo for them.

So dumb... if I were making millions to play a sport and a president I didn't like invited me to the White House, I would probably still go... because I'm a 'Merican.

The original Eagles acceptance for the invite promised a 70+ travel team would attend.  24 hours before the event the Eagles dropped the attendance to 4-  One player, the mascot and 2 coaches.  The White House got blindsided and cancelled the event.  I don't blame them, with 4 in attendance it was a waste of time and only benefited the media's negative narrative.

A senior administration official said the Eagles promised to have about 70 people there last week. By Monday, the team said only 10 to 12 people might come, this person said, creating a meager celebration. Trump deemed the smaller crowd unsatisfactory, aides said.

or how about be a man and use this opportunity to speak to the president of the united states in person to voice your concerns?  you may or may not advance your agenda or change his mind, but it's certain that you won't if you don't even go.

and the nfl players have been kneeling for 2 years and have made no progress.  kim kardashian, who does not support trump, actually went to the white house a week ago to speak to trump about prison reform and commuting alice johnson's sentence.  guess what? alice johnson is free and the nfl is still talking about kneeling.

Newman was behind the very unpopular gas tax.  Seems that some Californians can get something right, once in a while.
