Lakers just let go of Walton....

Wonder when Rob Pelinka will get the ax...

There's a good chance Jeannie gives Pelinka one year to see what he can do.  I hope I'm wrong.

They should clean house, not sure what the blind loyalty to Kobe's agent who's never been a GM is.  Jeannie is a weak owner who keeps going back to her safety blankets.

I don?t know what?s happening to the Lakers! They didn?t land Monty nor recently Ty Lue.

I guess it was a blessing in disguise that Luke Walton got a new job with the Kings. (Kings young core are solid)

If you have Spectrum or a service that contracts with them.

I don't think any of the streaming services have Spectrum and local games get blacked out if Spectrum carries it. :(

The rumors so far are:

Lakers pursuing Kawhi (duh)
Lakers pursuing Kemba (I like him as a compliment to AD and Lebron)
Kyrie interested in playing with AD (Not so in love with him)
CP3 interested in the Lakers (Hell no with his contract and how he played last year. Stay far away Rob!)

There's not going to be cap space for another max contract, fill it with good role players.  AD needs to waive his 4+mill and Pelicans would need to do the Lakers a favor by holding off on the trade until end of July. Why would the Pelicans help the Lakers especially if it wasn't negotiated ahead of time?  I think the Lakers only have 6 or 7 players under contract for next year.

AD has stated his intention to resign with the Lakers. I believe he doesn't want to screw his own team over and how they can help him win a chip. He'll probably waive his $4M kicker. If AD really wanted his $4M, he would just sign the super max with NOL. Plus think about LA as a larger market for endorsements. He's going to make way more in deals and more if he does win a chip.

The question is if NOL will delay the trade...

Lakers will have:

23ish worse case scenario
27ish if AD waives
32ish best case scenario

If they use all their cap on a 3rd all star in the best case scenario, they move into luxury tax territory after filling out the roster and I'm not sure how that works and how much over they will or can go.  If AD and/or LeBron goes down with injuries and have subpar role players, it's going to be another bad year.

You sign your max player, then use your MLE, then you can fill with veteran contracts. Also resigning your own players you can go over cap.
