Coincidentally, I read a couple articles recently about black women being upset that black men don't appreciate them more and yeah, they do feel left out. So, I think you are absolutely on to something there. I don't know about Hispanics totally sticking together, though. I'd say of any race of men, Hispanic men are the biggest fans of white women, from a white woman's point of view. Or, maybe they are just more vocal / obvious about it than others. They don't hide it much. This is a fun thread, however, I pity anyone who came looking for info on Laguna Altura. LOL :)

Oh that sucks.  I was just kidding about all this stuff.  Do asian guys feel the same way black women do?  To be honest, most of the asian women that I see with white guys are not very good looking.  I wouldn't think that asian guys would be upset about this.

There's a big difference of what kind of asian girls white guys with "yellow fever" go out with and white guys who are open to dating any ethnicity.  ;)
 
Majority of the Asian women I see with the White guys aren't lookers. 

That leaves us with the beautiful ones...

Not certain I agree with this statement.  I see for more asain guys with busted asian wifes that I see white guys.  Then again, maybe my opinion of what is busted and what isn't is different?  Then again, I've only ever dated in the 7+ range and my friends are similar.  You know, save that one friend everyone has that will go after anything that moves.

Looks like we pushed a button.  We better get back on topic for this thread.  It was an entertaining tangent nevertheless.
 
Maybe we should rank the Feng Shui parameters that hold the most weight with these types of buyers?  I think the one that holds the least amount of weight is the one where it is bad luck to be at the top of a hill i.e. having a view.  Would an FCB really prefer Woodbury over Turtle Ridge's Summit?
 
I never heard of a view being a bad thing, feng shui or non feng shui, and never heard that it was bad to be on top of a hill...it's bad to be at the bottom of a wok but top of the wok is better, right?
 
On the top of the wok is NOT always a good thing in feng shui. Only if the house's back is against the hill, and the surrandings make your house like sit in an armed chair, with front or door facing downhill. All the old buildings and temples in China on the hills were built this way for 2000 years. You NEVER see any house built like those in Quail hill, with butt of the house up in the air. Like I said, if your backyard is on a mini-cliff, it is not really good feng shui. Maybe that could explain why so many people bought in Quail hill are underwater in price now.  ;)

View is another story.  Again, if you all do not care about feng shui, it will be the best. Because good feng shui house would be priced cheaper. So, now, let's forget about feng shui and focus on view and price.

p.s.  feng shui for dummies: PS with a landfill nearby is not good feng shui.

That looks like fairly defensible terrain against cannibals, zombies, or general scavengers. Terrain can be a defensive multiplier against hungry, plodding, foes.

So wait, are you telling me that if someone was standing at their back fence, and it is a 75 ft drop down to the street below, all their wealth is flowing right out to the townhome dwellers down below?  Do you know if those townhomes the same place you find all the hot chicks that NoSoup scores as well?  Because up here behind the guard gates it is just us white dudes and our busted girls who age in dog years, so I am told.

Seriously, I'm done with this topic --- but I hope you see my point NoSoup.  When you talk like that about any woman, you sound like one of these douchebags.  Yeah, you pushed my button.  Maybe someday when you grow up and perhaps have a wife or daugther of your own, you'll learn to respect all women --- regardless of what you consider to be attractive or not. 

And by the way, since you seem concerned about it --- don't worry about the Pat Star family.  As a matter of fact, we even did some photo shoots for one of your beloved TIC new home community marketing books a couple years back.  So check out your old TIC wish books, you might see us smiling back at you.  ;)

My gf googled feng shui basics and found this video series on "about.com" of some lady explaining how to find the centerpoint of your home, and figuring out your bangua. Pretty interesting stuff! Tells you what to put where to optimize your chi.

Has anyone done this before?  I wonder if TIC has ever looked into doing these for their Irvine homes....They should. Most non-asians or ppl who don't care about FS wouldn't notice the difference. If anything, it would just bring in more FCB's.
