Never tried the real ones, frozen ones are gross.  Even in an inebriated state.  I even try to steam them to duplicate the real restaurant method.. still nasty.

The real ones are just as bad as the frozen ones.

I remember we went out of our way to the bad side of town (forgot what city it was) to try White Castle... and to this day we are wondering what the big deal is.

McD's cheeseburgers are better.

Yeah I buy hem occasionally. Not the same though.

what's better - White Castle or In N out?

Joke of the day. You must not be serious.

Lol! well I love In n Out and have never had white castle which so hyped up. Didn't know if I needed to go out of my way one day to try it. guess not then huh :)

I made these last night. I swear my kids could scarf down the entire pan if I let them!!

The temp should be reduced to 375. I just use Pillsbury pizza dough and it works fine. I've made them a few times now, different ways. They remind me of the Auntie Anne's or Wetzel's Pretzels things but better.

You can get hot dog dim sum

These are Lil' Smokies. It's a smoked sausage rather than a hot dog. Although, Vienna sausages can be substituted. Lil' Smokies from Hillshire Farms are particularly addicting, though.

You can get hot dog dim sum at Capital Seafood (or most Taiwanese bakeries).

:)
I tried the hot dog buns at local Taiwanese bakeries like 85c and JJ but the hot dogs they use are very low quality (mushy and tasteless).  I wish they used premium natural casing dogs or at least Nathans or Hebrew National.

Heh... hot dogs are low quality as a rule. :)

Now that Berkley Dog and Jerry's Dogs are closed, it's either WeinerDude or Taiwanese bakeries (there aren't even Burger Kings in Irvine anymore).

Edit: I forgot, you can also go to 7-11 or AMPM (since there are so many in Irvine now).

There is a Wienerschnitzel on Jeffrey!

Actually, I go to Costco to get my hot dogs.
