Agreed but then again...Asian parents compare all the time. It's ridiculous but probably true.

I completely agree with you on the locations...that the best they could come up with? I know there is a lot of resentment toward TIC but it fully understands the importance of schools for Irvine residents. WB, CV, and SG all have elementary schools smack in the center of the community with plenty of space for expansion. Ditto for Jeffrey Trail.
TIC commits prime pieces of each community to schools, WB, CV, SG, and PS all have or will have community elementary schools with large areas of open areas around it. It is key selling point for TIC communities.
Please...not this again. IUSD is demonstrably and statstically better than SVUSD. Doesn't mean that your kid is going to be a failure in life if s/he goes to SVUSD vs IUSD but the difference is reality, not perception.
I believe the land choices were the ones offered by 5 point....so it elected to give IUSD a choice between 1) being next to the jail and toxic dumpsite or 2) on a toxic dumpsite
A better location would have been the old RV Sales park across from Knollwoods.

Oh big time. My mom always be comparing.
Although she doesn't get Irvine so she doesn't think that highly of me. lol. Apparently my cousin who is an optometrist and lives in Riverside is more to her liking. ;P

neither sites are ideal. LA, CV, Portola, SG and WB residents, please voice your concern and support that Heritage Field or the Great Park Homes to be seceded to SVUSD. Not only your children will enjoy higher quality of education, it will also help your home values.
For Great Park residents, it will help lower the property values to make it more affordable for whites, non-FCBs, Qwerty's people and African Americans.
