Little white dogs pwn.

Ohh-h-h, is that a little white dog? I thought it was a coyote's lunch.

What exactly goes on in this room? DIY home operating theater?

I was wondering that myself. It is really really really bizarre and for the life of me I can't see the purpose of that room. Initially I expected it to be some giant shower, but then you look and there's no plumbing, just tile walls and floors. It makes you want to look for the guy in the straight jacket. Somebody please tell me what exactly people were thinking when they did this to a house???? Seriously, I want to know what makes people do really stupid stuff like this?

It looks like it could possibly become a laundry room, but with no visible outlets and the window placement, I'm just not sure.

Ocean view from balcony! Cozy wood burning fireplace. South san clemente sfr next to car wash! 7 days a week free music from 8am to 10pm from local car wash visitors! Some repairs needed to restore this home, including some drywall repairs.

I guess they've gone from desperation to just flat out sarcasm now.

LOL. No inside pictures either, so it is probably crapped out.

You want 2002 prices? Well... I have better. You want 1998 prices? Well I have better. How about from one bubble to another bubble...

This place in Santa Ana sold in 1989 for $95k, and it is for sale/in foreclosure for $110k. Adjusted for inflation, that is one hell of a loss. RE always goes up, in fact it doubles every ten years. Oops, you just have to pick the right 10 year period or you look like this poor guy...

SFRs go up due to the land value.

condos, not so much.

and actually, the structure of the SFR pretty much only goes down in value too, unless you spend money on upkeep and upgrades.

I wonder if there is an actual study that confirms my anecdotal observations?

Regarding the dog pooping in the yard, take a look at the listing agent's website (http://www.marlenedietrichrealestate.com/195908.html ... which is actually his wife's website, since he works for the Mrs.) and scroll down a bit. You will then see what appears to be the two dogs shown in the backyard picture:

It would be funny if this were a police lineup-type of identification. "Now Bruiser, time to go poo. Good boy!"

No. Freaking. Way.

They let their dog crap on their client's lawn AND took a picture of it. This is some kind of new low. I'm not even sure what heading this falls under. Stupidity? Disrespect? Unprofessional?

And I think another real question is... did they clean it up afterwards? Bad enough bringing your rat dogs over (yes, yes, they are cute, but still little rat-sized dogs), letting them poop, and then taking a picture of it. But icing on the cake would be just leaving it there. 'Oh my, you have poop on your lawn, that wouldn't be good for prospective buyers to see! Did the neighbor's dog hop the fence again?'
