This should keep the L.E. property values low for a bit....

So... I was at this wedding on Saturday, and there was this dude who lives in the I.E. at our table, and ironically he was talking about price drops, not appreciation. It was quite a different experience compared to two years ago, and I had people at the table asking me questions about the market and foreclosures rather than looking at me like I was an off my rocker pollyanna chicken little full blown nutter.
Anyway, the dude that lives in the I.E. starts telling this story about this parasite that killed this kid who swam in the Lake Elsinore. Everyone starts to look at him like he is the full blown nutter. Well... I look at him and start to think... last time I was at Canyon Lake there was this dumb a$$ drunk Marine (no offense to our military folks here, he wasn't a dumb a$$ because he was a Marine, but because he drunk and he couldn't swim, so he needed a life preserve jacket. He is a MARINE for gawdsakes, and he needs a life preserve swim in a freaking calm as a bath tub lake. Yes, there are a few that somehow get to defend our country that can't even swim when they are a MARINE. [/rant]), that was swimming in the lake. I wondered if he caught this parasite, and I hoped he didn't, because while he was dumb a$$, we need him more than ever. Then... I think, next time I'm in Canyon Lake, do not get any where near the water. I took the nutter's words to heart, and realized a swim wasn't worth death, kinda like buying in Lake Elsinore, it would be financial death.
