They bought it a year ago for $790K.....now $979 ? WTF !

Yes, I dig these mid-century moderns. I would live in this in a heart beat ! (But need a pool.....oh, and about a 500K reduction.....mmm k? )

You might be able to squeeze a pool in somewhere on the .33 acre lot. If the price drops $500k you'll have to make an offer before me though! That looks like a great place to park my Eames chair!

Hey, bug off QH ! I got dibs and I'll be putting my Barcelona in it.... ;-)

There's only one active listing at that price, and since the listing agent reveals in the first sentence that it is the "*** Luxurious home owned by pro football player, Carson Palmer ***" I won't feel bad about disclosing that the address is 739 Nyes Pl.

Ikea called. They'd like their showroom returned please.

That listing with his name appeared on the front page of one of the many real estate listing sections in this Sunday's OCR. It definitely got our attention at home so I guess it's a good strategy.

[quote author="Irvine Allergy Dr" date=1200119313]WTF? Wandered across this property located in Corona del Mar. Almost $4k/sq ft. Bought 4 months ago, and then apparently immediately relisted for $3M *higher*.

And no, its not the huge estate in the background, its the little shack in the foreground.

Umm, since they didn't have any other offers, they have since decided to raise the asking price, but have still left the typos/poor grammar in the description. It looks like they raised it July 4th.

First of all, I had no idea there were $1MM+ homes in Downey, much less homes for $4MM (and this isn't the only one listed near that price). But you have to admit that this is, um, quite the house.
