Didn't know the Tesla X came in pink.

Homer - I've been meaning to ask you about the Tesla.  I've been thinking about it.  Did you get it yet?  Does that recent garage fire possibly started by the charging system cause any concern to you?  I know there was a couple of car fires out there and I dismissed those, but now maybe burning down the house kinda scares me.  Just curious for your thoughts since you've put alot of time into this

Marty, it's on order and hasn't arrived yet.  I'm getting the X which will be released later this year.  I will post pics and review when I get to pick up  :)  I'm still driving my gas guzzler LX around...

There are concerns about the charging system causing the fire but I have a few months to think about it and research some more.

cool.  Also wondered if you knew the owner of the Tesla garage fire since it was in Irvine near UCI, small community of Tesla owners in Irvine (maybe not so small, but can't be too many)

hopefully they have more supercharging stations so I dont need to call TD
You need to buy another home in San Juan Capistrano... that's where they are building the first Orange County Tesla Supercharging Station.

you know you want to ride in the truck... i'll even let you ride in the back like we did as kids.

Though i wouldn't recommend standing up while the vehicle is moving.  With Irvine drivers, that could result in low altitude flight when i have to hit the brakes.

I think I still see Qwerty do that when he gets picked up outside of home depot...

jk Qwerty!  >:D

This was in the LA Times a couple of days ago. It seems that money and greed got in the way of a truly great park, and Irvine City Council played a large part in it. Now, at best, we're left with a mediocre park, and a whole lot of new homes and traffic.

Well it's good that they are building more homes that are not owned by Irvine Company.  Plus.. I know people wanted a park to rival central park.. but that was never going to happen.

My second home is west of Central Park. Every morning I see a group of old Chinese women sitting by the Strawberry Field fighting with squirrel for the Gingko nuts fallen from the trees. I doubt that I will see this sort of activities at the Great Park except for that infamous Chinese guy who exploit his elderly panhandling mother.

I'm told the black walls were intentional to fit the character of the hood. I guess black, orange bikes and a common area greenhouse all go together. Or maybe they had the adjacent jail in mind.  But now they're reconsidering and *might* change the look to something else.

Look like test was right

Tree relocation storage and maintenance $913,758.

When I was at the PP community center I was amazed at how big the trees are, and so I asked the workers how they transported the trees to PP.  They said the trees are native to the great park and before the development, they uprooted them and stored them.  They didn't have to transport them very far.  Now I know how much it cost the tax payers.

Normally the trees at a new development are quite small due to difficulty in transportation.

I also noticed these awesome wind chimes at PP community center.

I'm thinking of getting one.
