Economic Slowdown?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Dow at 27,200+ right now.  Is this the last week you can get out of the stock market before the recession hits? or will it go higher!?
Maybe sell everything now and wait for Trump to say 50% tariffs!, then buy back a few days later.

His tweets does wonders  :)

Surprise!!  Not really, wait till the pent up growth shows after a China deal is penned.

US economy grew at a moderate 2.1% annual rate in the third quarter

The U.S. economy grew at a moderate 2.1% rate over the summer, slightly faster than first estimated.
Many economists say, however, that they think growth is slowing sharply in the current quarter.
The Commerce Department says the July-September growth rate in the gross domestic product, the economy?s total output of goods and services slightly exceeded its initial estimate of a 1.9% rate.

For the first time in US history, a decade will pass without the country falling into a recession
In every decade since the period immediately before the Civil War, the US economy could be relied on to do one thing: tumble into recession.  But the American economy is on pace to defy that trend for the first time in nearly 170 years as it enters the 2020s.  The 2010s would be first time a decade has come and gone without the nation falling into recession, which is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of contracting gross domestic product.

Amazing what a trillion dollars a year of excess spending can do.

Previously congress representatives were screaming about the deficit. But now they are no where to be found.

Take back America!

So Apple the king just issued guidance and sales forecast.

Apple officially issues forecast of slow production in China.

Expect all other major corps to issue the same guidance sooner or later.

This is now contraction commencement.

How far and how deep, anyone?

I think it won?t get much past 10%. It would be a welcomed pullback. I think this thing is a bit overblown. Buying this sell off.

Ya it's like Trump said after he won the election.  My investments are winning so much, they're getting sick and tired of winning!

This feels like a welcome pullback actually.  Strange to say when you lose big $ in a day, but a welcomed breather none the less.

Is it time?
Maybe a bit early.

With the market tanking like it is, a Vaccine and treatments will fastracked and by the end of year the dow will be at 30k. It can bounce back just as fast as it came down. About 4-5 weeks ago the Dow was at 29.3k and went down to about 28.5 over several days, then it set a new record at 29.5k. This is the dip we wait for 1-3 times a year to use that dry powder.

The downward velocities of this market is breath taking.

This, and U.S. have not even experience one death related to Covid 19 virus. CDC warn that it will be inevitable that the outbreak happen right here in the homeland.

Imagine if the head line of just one casualty from this virus in the U.S. Far from over.

This downward dumped the robbers surely taking their chips off the tables. And telling people to stand still.

Ha ha. And you got Rush Limbo telling people not to be worry that it is just a cold virus. Nothing to worry. :)

Every year the regular old flu kills around 18000 people here. How many Americans has corona killed again?

This map will be updated as more cases in the U.S. are confirmed. As of Feb. 25, there were at least 57 cases confirmed in the U.S.

Got it, 57 cases, so far (thank God) no deaths.
