Well not sure using sports is the best comparison.
Not sure it would make sense to have 20,000 - 70,000 people shoulder to shoulder without a treatment/vaccine.
The sports leagues can?t move forward in part because local governments may not be letting them. Also, the sports leagues are very sensitive to public backlash and don?t want to alienate their fans. I can see the news and Twitter world start bashing them that they only care about money and are people in danger, etc.
They just have not found a path that they would not get criticized for. They have plenty of ideas in place and ready to execute.
