You can call it testing as we have more testing kits now than before. However, the policy makers still ask for more restriction based on the raw case number.
So either the case number matters or it is not really about COVID.

BTW: It's not lost on me that these additional booster requirements may indeed have some type of financial connection similar to how Big Oil has kept alternative energy limited.

But the same could be argued for yearly flu shots and basically any medication on the market.

The point is, there is proof of efficacy (despite akula's false claims) so we need to trust the science.
 
I am well aware of hospitalization rate is low but you are very naive thinking the credit is due to the vaccine.
Omnicron attacks lung cells less...that's the science.
You can find the research paper on Nature...unless you call Nature fake scientific source. I know people don't like to admit being wrong and duped, but I can see the sentiments are changing as more and more people start to question this vaccine...

Considering Fauci admitted and made the distinction between because of COVID vs with COVID (on children but same applies to adults), the COVID number is overstated. We know at least the minimum is 6% is certainly due to COVID as the sole cause.

Come on guys, let's all get along here.  My mom and step dad got covid earlier this week (both vaxxed and boosted) with had mild symptoms and are almost back to 100%.  I got it too around new years day as I had a stuffy nose and a sore throat along with being very sleepy (got my booster a week before xmas).  This variant is going around like wildfire, it's not a matter of if most all of us will get it get but when.

It's really difficult to get along with someone who keeps spreading misinformation and lies about the vaccine. It's like he wants people to die.

I tend to agree that most likely, sooner or later, everyone will be infected with Omicron. Fortunately, the symptoms seem to be mild.
