My husband was all smiles that when he gets home from work, he's greeted at the door with cold beer, hot pigs, and kisses

Now that is a hell of a wife.  If you and your husband ever divorce please let me know. I will immediately leave my wife and propose to you.
What, you mean your wife would never do that for you?  :P

Awwww, thank you so much for the nice compliment, Qwerty!  :) Keeping him content is my God-given duty and my pleasure. Wives should always try their best! On that note... I just remembered to go frost more beer mugs...

Are sweet potatoes healthier than their white counterparts???
Supposed to be because of the fiber.

I actually don't like the sweet taste for a meal... prefer them as dessert.

Sweet potatoes are packed with Vitamin A. I have a really good recipe for sweet potatoes if you want it. It does not contain the traditional marshmallows, so, it's not too sickeningly sweet. It has cinnamon and applesauce. So easy. I make it in the slow cooker. Even easier!

Milk, yogurt and cheese - all white. Egg whites.
Sweet potatoes fries next time at Counter, remember, no matter how much they tempt you to go 50-50!

I made my husband Fried Cheese Ravioli with Marinara Dipping Sauce for dinner.  :'( Another diet fail. It was too good. I didn't make myself sick this time, though.

Btw, does anyone else feel bad if things go to "waste"? I had to buy a quart of buttermilk to make this recipe. That's the smallest container available. Sure, I could pour the rest down the drain.

Or.

I could make a Pineapple Upside Down cake.

:-\ I make a MEAN cake. I'm not sure I want it in the house. It's so good, it would make you slap yo' momma!  :o

Decisions, decisions.

Not that anyone here wants to eat something fried, but if you do, I highly recommend using the spinach cheese triangular ravioli from Costco's frozen section for that recipe. It works the best with those of all the ravioli I've tried.

We really like that ravioli from Costco. I love the baked/fried ravioli at olive garden. Not sure if they have it anymore though.

Yeah, that Costco ravioli is so good. I like to buy Costco's frozen shrimp scampi with it. I put them together. I make the scampi and pour the shrimp & garlic butter sauce over the cooked ravioli. Then, sprinkle the seasoned cheese that comes with the ravioli over the meal. It's really good!

Awesome job, Homer.

It's going to be a rough night later.

I'm making my husband one of his favorites - Honey Walnut Shrimp with Rice. The recipe is as good, if not better than, what you get in a Chinese restaurant. It's REALLY good! I'm scared.  :'(

Couldn't find Pure Protein in Costco the other day! How is Detour?
Was thinking of ordering Pure from Amazon today.
