Lunch: 7oz Chicken Breast Honey Chipotle from Costco,

That sounds good. I need a trip to Costco. It's been so long. I've been putting it off because I'm afraid to be confronted by bags of tempting Popcornopolis.

Btw, have you ever tried the Morning Star sausages? They are meatless and I've heard from a few people that they are very good. I haven't tried them, so I can't vouch for them, but I will buy some next time I'm at the store.

@SoCal: It's at Ralph's... Active Lifestyle is a Kroger brand.

I saw the Oat Revolution thing... but they had no fruit flavors... and it's a bit pricey (no closeout pricing at my Ralph's).

OOOooo I didn't realize it's a Kroger brand. Good to know. Maybe I over looked it. I'll have to take a closer look next time.

I highly recommend staying away from the Strawberries & Cream Oat Revolution, unless you like that "car freshener" taste. I was wiping my tongue off. It was that bad. The Peaches & Cream is good. I think that's it for fruit. The Maple & Brown Sugar is VERY good. Will you only eat fruit? Maybe Mrs. IHO can go track some down for you. Has she been helping you out with your meal-planning? I think if I was a guy, I'd tell my wife to make me my regular meals except replace many of the ingredients with healthier versions, so that I wouldn't have to "feel" like I'm trying. Maybe Mrs. IHO can help that way or by pre-packaging your lunches for you, doing all the "thinking" for you so you can do the eating. My husband is not interested in losing weight, otherwise I would employ these strategies to be a good helper.

Homer: Sick of chicken yet? You're doing great but I don't know how you do it and not get tired of the same thing. I can eat the same thing for about a week before I'm burnt out. Do you like seafood? It's even leaner than poultry.

I do most of the grocery shopping for the family.

Mrs. IHO takes too long and ends up buying stuff that ends up not getting eaten and spoiled.

I stick to the must-haves and staples... water, milk, Banana Split Ice Cream (hmm... haven't had that in a while).

Nope, I can eat anything over and over and over again.

I like seafood but the Mrs. doesnt and she doesn't really like to see it in the house lol.

Dinner - 7oz Ground Turkey, Whole wheat pasta and some prego sauce, side of steamed veggies.

Post workout meal - 4oz Chicken Breast.

Still seriously plateaued, but keeping the diet sane. Hard not to give up though :)
Eggs+ apple + protein shake for breakfast, whole wheat bread for midmorning. Lunch, no plans yet. Might eat out.

Haven't had time to step in the gym since school started. But walking in the neighborhood. Have said hello to all spiders hanging from the trees :)

I binged three days thinking that will shake things up. 2000 Calorie each day mainly in sugar and carbs, didn't even add water weight. On second thoughts should replace batteries on the scale... looks like spinning, shred or insanity should be added!

I'll walk but the only thing that would get me to run is a clown chasing me with a bloody knife and margaritas at the finish line.

I am not a runner either. A toddler running in front of me did make me run though :)
The spiders are huge! Never saw them before. Did you take any spinning classes? Our location doesn5 have spinning. Around the time I visit, they have Zumba mostly.

I've been noticing a lot of spiders and their webs in the trees lately too.  I'm terrified for the gardeners who have to trim the hedges and shrubs where the spiders hide in.  :(

Aww, that's cute. I never met a man who is afraid of creepy-crawlies.

Iho, where are you? Do you tip-toe around spiders, too?? Does Mrs. IHO kill them for you?

I think we've already determined that IHO is a manly man compared to Homer.  :P

I am the designated insect terminator... I use the tissue-crush-against-the-wall-flush-down-the-toilet technique.

The one time an insect surprised me was years ago in our first home... a cockroach up near the ceiling so I went up on a chair to use my TCATWFDTT maneuver and then it **FLEW***!! I had no idea that the flying variety existed in Cali... almost knocked me off the chair. Mrs. IHO claims that I screamed but I have no recollection of such an action... she must have heard Homer when he was a baby. :)

Same as you, Mr. SoCal does the TCATWFDTT. We have vaulted ceilings so he gets a long painting stick with a wad of masking tape and tissue stuck to the end... commence crushing. I have only heard him scream one time in 15 years. He got swarmed in a tiny bathroom by a hoard of flying termites infiltrating the wall vents, hundreds raining down on him and biting him. (This was our very first apartment in Tustin at Redhill & San Juan. Home Sweet Ghetto.) I don't blame him. I screamed, cried, and practically left a SoCal-shaped hole in the wall as I ran out. One of my worst fears is that one day I'll be living alone and have nobody to help me deal with this. I couldn't do it myself. As it is now, I try to drown them in Windex first. If that doesn't work, Raid. But often times, I just put a trashcan upside down over it and wait until somebody comes to my rescue. The last thing I had in my house was a lizard!!

i go in the backyard at night with a flashlight and one of those long candle lighter things and take out black widows. i have little dogs so cant risk them getting bit.

Only 10 days to go until our first month is up.

I'm down 8.5 lbs. Come on, Scale. Faster!

My cheeks are my best barometer. That seems to be the first place I gain. Definitely feeling a little less plump there. My Asian immigrant ESL student tells me I have a "friendly" face. That isn't the first time I've heard that from someone, specifically an Asian. Not sure what she / they mean. I'm guessing "round". When I take pictures, I always get the squinty face alert symbol on the camera like this: ^_^  It's a bit less often now. I lost what I gained since surgery and a few more. It's an okay start considering the month isn't over.
