BP is it worth the health risk?

Did they disclose why the annual MR increase? I read that the area requires on-going toxicity monitoring & clean up, is it for that?

They don't say why it increases by 2% but by law, I think, it can only increase a maximum of 2%.  The MR funds are used for CFD purposes: streets, water/sewer systems, flood control facilities, parks, schools, open space maintenance, public safety services, etc, etc, etc.  If you want a detailed breakdown of precisely how the special tax is apportioned and how the proceeds will be used, you can contact the city to get the document.

Also, of course BP looks barren.  It's basically phase 1 of the contiguous GP development.  Have you ever visited Woodbury when it first opened?  Completely barren, nothing surrounding it.  And look at it now.
