Saw the Heights.  Thought the floor plans were only ok.  They REALLY emphasized the outdoor/indoor living in these floor plans which is great for entertaining but not sure if it suits my everyday lifestyle.  Because of this emphasis on outdoor/indoor living, the downstairs space felt small to me.  There is also no flex space downstairs and sometimes, the great room felt small.  I really liked the tiny "mud alley" or "drop zone" in the Ridgecrest floor plan from the garage entry.  Great for my sandy/dirty kids to take off all their crap before entering the house.

Every plan also had optional structural buildout items so I suspect in the later phases, these will be well past $1M after you opt for the california rooms, the master retreat buildouts, the loft buildouts, the cool pocket sliding doors they have everywhere, etc.

That's my biggest cost concern with the Heights/Highland...the models probably costs $50 to 100K more than the base and maybe another $100-150K for landscaping.  I have no way of thinking about how the house looks like without shelling out all that money.

ok back on topic.  here's the phase 1 Heights pricing.  these are the 2nd most expensive product.  By toll brothers.

Ridgecrest - 2686 to 2923 sf
31: $934,995 (5263 sf lot)
34: $959,995 (5,451)
36: $970,995 (4,827)

Cascade -2714 to 3056 sf
30: $949,995 (4,828)
38: $969,995 (6,258)
32: $989,998 (5,503 - corner home on CDS facing Alton)
33: $1,019,995 (5,360 - corner home with no house behind on CDS facing Alton)

Summit - 2695sf
35: $954,995 (4766)
29: $959,995 (5104)
37: 959,995 (5644)

Lottery to be held Saturday for these homes.  Biggest lot in development is 9,387 sf.  Not sure what the slope on that home is though.  Most range in the 4000s-5000s.  Some 6000s - 7000s.  I have a site plan that I'll upload later.

I should also caveat that i don't know if any of the above pricing includes structural upgrades.  They are already framing these so I suspect some lots may include optional cali rooms or a loft buildout, etc.

Looks like about the same pricing as the early phase of Sagewood / Whistler in PP and lots size seems little smaller on average.  Even though it doesn't have MR, I would have thought they would price it at a noticeable discount compared to PP.

I feel like it's a lesser Lambert Ranch...priced like phase 1 Lambert Ranch but without the gated community or the IUSD.

Bones , but did your sister go to USC for her Master's?  Serious question.  Just playing a game of "It's a small world if..."

Homie, did you really go there today?  You didn't message me... We could have raced up and down Alton.  We may want to switch cars though.  People will get confused if they see me driving my car and it will ruin the feel of the neighborhood.  Oh yeah, you were in the heli with Bones.

I may go see the models soon.  Has the initial flood of people died down?

The distance and area is a factor to me. We looked at Whistler Ridge back a few years ago and even at $700k, we thought it was too much for the drive and location and it didn't even have amenities.

I don't think $1mil with amenities makes much of a difference.

If you're spending $1mil, it should be coastal... or Irvine. :)

Shhh... you're making qwerter (or me?) jealous.

Iho, are you in love with Bones? Or Homie? I'm confused.

Is this even a question?  Homie of course.  BTW - Homie and I were just doing banker bonding and plotting about ways to get our kids into Stanford - nothing to be jealous about.

My endowment will cover that.  >:D

Great seeing you again Bones and thanks for the lift in the Orange bike... only if it was a tandem I wouldn't have to sit on the handle bars!  ;)
