Do you think as price/sf increases there will be more homes for sale?
Umm.. so much for racial diversity. All those who drive from that neighborhood to Hicks/ My Ford are Asian..
If only those Asian kids went to school where they belong, the school ratings might improve.
Anyone noticed? Beckman High is down to 9.
i know a couple of neighbors who did the intradistrict transfer to myford. if we are still there when we have school age kids we would likely request an intradistrict transfer as well. unless they really get going on the new home building in the area to be able to support that new elementary that was built, which is being used for something else.
this one has no neighbor across the street and has an actual front yard, or what i would call a somewhat normal front yard. sold for about 813K back in September. this one even included the following in the listing description: Already enrolled students, siblings and open enrollment for Irvine School District.
i dont even know what they are trying to say. that this home qualifies for enrollment for irvine schools?

I think they mean they were able to get their kids into good IUSD schools, you can too.
It's real simple, buy in Augusta and buy another home in Irvine...
That always works. Better yet, buy another one facing the beach. Those kids will want to throw a party to their friends once in a while..

School district is terrible.. most come to Hicks Canyon, but it's an intra-district transfer.
Yes, priced out forever! I almost knocked on my neighbor's door to pass whatever it is they are drinking.. something much potent than regular cool-aid.

Yeah Augusta is zoned for the not so good schools in Tustin. AG Currie and Tustin HS is eeek... Hoping they build a new high school so the property will sky rocket in price :-*

I definitely think so, but you may get sellers that are looking for dreamland prices who aren't really that motivated to sell. I guess we shall see because prices continue to move up.Cubic Zirconia said:

I would think around late summer time the home prices will slightly decrease as more homes flood the market.

I don't think the flood of homes will be big enough this summer for the big backlog of buyers looking to buy. Trust me, it's bananas out there right now (multiple offers on almost every single home that my buyers make offers on).homer_simpson said:

man i really didnt think this was going into escrow anytime soon. bought for 813K, i calculated with window treatments and landscaping they were all in at about 840K. i think im going to take a line of credit, get my down payment back and roll the dice.
