Correct.  Woodbury is a jumbled mess of 5,000 homes that will surrounded by another 5,000 homes to the north, 5,000 homes to the east, 5,000 homes to the south, 5,000 homes to the west.  Columbus Square has 1,000 homes that will be surrounded by places to work, play, shop, dine.
And the rest of Tustin Legacy will NEVER be built out?

Huh?  CS is surrounded by weeds right now.

OK, this thread has reached its nexus of ridiculousness...

The topic of this thread is woodbury density, to which I voted yes, and my reasons stated above.  You are the one that brought up Columbus Square as a contrast, to which you are absolutely correct, it is the total opposite of Woodbury.

Which should also tell you what kind of demand there is for CS... I guess that's total opposite too.

Lower demand = lower prices.  Is that news to you?  I thought it was obvious that Irvine has a much better housing market than the rest of OC right now.

But why is that? Even at lower prices, CS has a hard time competing with the oh-so-dense Woodbury.

Maybe people prefer to live next to 5000 other homes over train tracks and an airport flight path.

Again... CS needs to create a superior product for a lower price to make up for some of its other deficiencies.

I don't know what's so bad about airplanes.  I love hearing them hit the afterburner from my patio in Newport Beach.  I guess demand and home values have gone down around here.  Some folks in North Tustin complain about being under the flight path.  I guess demand and homes values have gone down there too.  But like I said, to each his own, more people like Woodbury right now.

Nothing wrong with the airplanes, except the noise and the engine soot that lands on your house, cars, and in your lungs.  Other than that, it's harmless.
