I respect a guy who quotes Augustine, but to capture my attention I would hope that you quote him in order to criticize and blame him for the Puritanical aversion to, and obsession with, sex that grips a large portion of Western culture. That, and the guy was just full of himself. ;-)

25w100k+,

What did I tell you about Augustine?

Not only was she not feeling you, but you came across as pompous and full of yourself.

She ?respects? you is a polite way of shooting you down.

I told you to switch it up and fast.

To be clear, I think Augustine was full of himself. Dude...nobody cares about your Confessions. However, the party is definitely NOT on when somebody starts quoting Catholic Saints. Well, unless there is a cool one I don't know about. What about St. Patrick? Patron saint of drinking green beer? I can dig getting rid of snakes.

Nobody said there was anything wrong with the Goose and Redbull. I can even rock it sometimes myself.

What?s the story with ?Ember? is it worth checking out?

Is it located at the GardenWalk, haven?t been there but meaning to check it out.

Like going to Roys in NB but haven?t heard if that has opened yet.

Ember is in The Colony...which means we parked in front of an adorable old house and walked straight into the freakin' ghetto on Anaheim Blvd. The local crowd was there (and then some), and I'm not sure if folks weren't into the music or what because it was after 12 before the dancing really started in full. I had fun though. It being opening weekend I'm not sure where it's going to head...more crowded and a hot spot or just die on the vine. If you dig Latina chicks then that's the place to go as the place was crawling with them, and they were all dressed to impress.

Been to a few restaurants in the GardenWalk and those are nice, but I haven't been since they opened it up (ie, more than just the Katella-facing places) more recently. And Roy's is open.

Sounds like an adult version of a ?juice box?.

What do you guy's serve for dinner, adult Mac n Cheese?

[quote author="caycifish" date=1212976900]So, speaking of OC clubs, I went to Ember last night. It was the grand opening of a brand new club in Anaheim ("uptown Anaheim"...whatever that means).

The "dapper gentleman" I was with

Dapper, yeah right

If that?s what you call wearing a suit from Men?s warehouse.

Last time I checked Boss is spelled with a ?B? and not a ?V?.

Seriously who else besides my dad wears a suit and tie to a club anyway.

Let me guess, he was constantly yelling into his Blackberry "Sell when it hits $50"

That?s the oldest trick in the book

Please don?t tell me you fell for that ruse.

Dude was probably showing off his set of Bull&Bear;cuff links as well.

Ridiculous!

C?mon Cayci, take the red pill and get out of the Matrix already.

You?re hot, no reason to lower your standards like that.

Think of what a trophy/power couple we?d make.

The cream of society, the OC?s version of Brangelina.

So ditch that old goat, Billy Bob and we?re a go.

[quote author="acpme" date=1213058270]haha funny you say that... reminds me of two awesome dishes.

#2 Adult Tater Tots (brie-filled) at Stack Bar in Vegas.

Ok, admit it. I like regular tater tots. :-)

[quote author="tenmagnet" date=1213053558]Not to mention your cadence is way off, no chemistry being built whatsoever.

I had high hopes for you so naturally, I?m a bit disappointed.

Hopefully, you?ll recover or next stop will be further down Newport Blvd., over at Outback sharing an awesome blossom with Graph and 24.

They have a regular booth there and at Johnny Rockets.

Sounds like fun!

Okay... I am cool with some of the pot shots, like Target and the Laotian tranny, but I am not laying down on the Outback comment. I have never been there, and I hope to keep it that way. That place is crap, at least give me credit on good food. I would work at Target as a second job, just to make the extra cash to avoid Outback if that is what it would take. I will let you, Ipo, and IR2 go there with your new three way bromance you guys have, maybe 24 and 25k want to join, but you can count me out on the bromance and the Outback. Both are sick.

Now that... that was platinum right there. I needed a good laugh this morning and that did it.

Alright Graph, I?ll make it up to you.

You can join Cayci and me at Sprinkles.

Then we?re off to FI to try out swimsuits.

Please Graph don?t embarrass yourself, make that Mystic appointment and use the Mach 3 razor I gave you.

On your chest this time and not your back.

We good now!

And Cayci, I'm a little uncomfortable smearing the Sprinkles icing all over your body.

This is our first date after all and I don't want to move so fast.

Awe, Ten...that's so nice of you to let Graph tag along. But I do enjoy walking around FI on a nice day. Good choice.

Would you rather smear the icing all over Graph instead? I'm fine to enjoy my red velvet in peace while you guys take yours in the Mystic booth for a bit.

Nice one!

For obvious reasons I can?t give you props or click the ?Thanks? button.

Hopefully, he?s immune to the power of Axe or else I?ll need Trooper?s stun gun to fight him off.

hahaha. Oh man. Thats good. I should have known she was more likely to fall for the mens' warehouse crackberry blasting wanna be.

And I am a bit pompous and full of myself. Sure it turns some girls off-- but I'm not exactly starving either.

Outback...I dunno....its a little $$$ for me when I want to close. I mean, Graph did refer to me as 25k, reducing my networth, income, and subsequent identinty by a factor of four. ;-)

Ah... thank gawd I found out the power of the Axe too. I may have to fight you off in that case, and it's a good thing I am still friends with Trooper, that way I get first dibs on the stun gun.

Thanks for the Axe tip and the Mach3 razor. It definitely helped, now I just need to go to Costco to get some replacement blades, I go through them so quickly.

BTW, it is all about Cantaloop these days...

Great Amex reference, you got it!

I always laugh thinking about your scotch comment.

My reply set off the whole firestorm with Trooper.

Next time your at Sutra, you and Graph need to stop ambushing ?girls? as they exit the ladiesroom.

Don?t deny it either, I was chilling on the outside patio and saw you guys posted up at the bar by the bathrooms.

Graph was actually smelling one of the girl?s hair.

Bro, stop trying to hypnotize her with your BMW key chain.

Hey, they make the drinks faster at that bar. I can't help it if the hot <strike>chicks</strike> ladies just pour out of the restroom right next to where I'm standin.

The best part about sutra is the drunken sprint across newport blvd to Othose at 2:00 am. The ladies love it. Works every time.

I?m gone by 12:30-1:00am max.

Not that I can relate in the least, but I love your persistence.

Hanging around past last call, until the light?s come on, post bar closing at it?s finest.

Nice standards my man!

Last chance before going home alone,

Do you pick them off at coat check, the escalators, or parking garage?

Or all of the above

Sorry I can?t identify.

No,we wouldn?t cancel each other out.

We still be just like Beauty and the Geek.

Don?t worry; Graph would still continue to be his unattractive and geeky self.

If he?s lucky maybe he?ll get some of my leftovers.

I?m not the type of guy that normally likes to share but today, I?m feeling generous.

Thanks for the link.

You nailed it, good bar scene and attractive crowds.

Stack Bar looks like it delivers.

Very cool!

The d?cor reminds me of the Mesa Grill at Caesars.

I?ll definitely check it out next time I?m in Vegas.
