Why are so many people uptight on IHB?

Yes, but just a few times, i'm nowhere near what anybody would consider a modern dancer. Contrary to popular belief, the hip-hop class is quite difficult and if you aren't in good shape with a reasonable amount of flexiblilty, then its going to be an uphill battle. But don't let that deter you, any excercise is good excerise. Plus you might be one of the few people in the class who is male! LOL!

good luck

Thanks for the insight.

Although I pride myself on having great cardio; I agree with you that taking a hip-hop class requires a whole different level of cardio above running and biking.

It?s pretty much non-stop for the entire hour and I?m not sure I can hang at least initially.

Not to mention, I?m not very flexible, weight-training will do that to you.
