What do you do for a living?

I'm a crack dealer. Trojanman and Reason are my two best customers, as you can see. Qwerty is approaching third best. BK comes to me when he needs a little pick me up to snark it up, as can be seen by his latest post, it was snarktastic.

Haha! I think we were on crack after reading all of our posts.

great thread... SC.. totally missed it this weekend... I just posted a brief description of my work schedule.. but who else is in sales here... not too many from just skimming...

here is a another brief description of my work...

I wear a white collar but mostly do blue collar duties... driving, walking, picking & lifting/diagnosing/patching equipment...

I'm not particularly good at sales... I totally know more natural born sales people out there... If I can do sales, I know 80% of you guys can also! I just don't mind talking to people and getting to know them...

I always have good question to ask! Really key! That is why I take so many polls! It's a natural curiosity in people and seeing what makes them tick...

I love people, and I love connecting with them. My #1 Strengths Finder Trait is "Connectiveness" I love that word!

Roundy, 'nother guy in sales here. Fortunately, I'm in one of those industries that seems to do alright in economic downturns; sports. Seems like a lot of people are doing the 'staycation' this summer.

I recall in 1977 was the year "Starwars" came out and I could drink those $ 1.00 Heinekens

at the Theatre in Century City cause I just turned 21. Never mind all the other drugs we took before the movie. We must have seen that movie 10 times that summer.

Yes, Century City Plaza theatres was adjacent to the Shubert and both were demolished. Star War ran for a long time there. Back then fewer movies were made and the box office hit stayed for the entire year 1977-1988. The theater was ruined in the 80s when the twinplex was chopped into 4 theatres.

What was the name of that drive-in movie theater off of Katella just east of the Pond? I remember going to that one with my older cousin in the 80s.
