So Baker Ranch (beignets w/ SoCal) or Tustin Legacy (nacho Fritos w/qwerty)?

If I got a million bucks to blow on a house....I'd pick Tustin, much more food choices:  pho Kobe, Mr Sandwich, Taco Bell, panda with a drive thru, that Hawaiian place in the District, EPL, racist fil'a, and Animal style double double.

I think Foothill Ranch Town Center area have most of what you mentioned or similar and more (I think they are also building more commercial space near Baker Ranch and 241).  If Irvine is not a choice, my wife would go with Baker Ranch for sure (Hobby Lobby, Joanns and Michaels in one shopping complex is just a scrapbooker's dream location :)  Also I hate the layout of the District, confusing and hassle to move from one place to another.

GH is right. FR has a big selection - have you been to all of the plazas? Pho - check (2 of them). Taco Hell - check. Hawaiian - check. In & Out - check. Chic Fil A - check. Our Panda is a Pick Up Stix and there are some others (like Rising Sun.) Sandwiches - FR has Arby's, Subway, Islands for burgers, but BR is also closer than FR is to more mom & pop places for deli sandwiches near Irvine Blvd.

Although thinking about it more, FR has no Diamond Jamboree equivalent ... hhmm.. Guess better off at current location in between both  :P

I see construction happening by the fire station on edinger/kensignton.  Do you guys know if that is gonna be a plaza or homes?  Need to know asap! TEST?? HELP!!

across the street from the fire station on kensignton/edinger is going to the shopping center, supposed to have a grocery store, 45K sq ft gym (LA Fitness?), drycleaning, etc and some medical building.

from the OC register

"The southern hangar could be part of a central entertainment area called The District, which would include a hotel, lake and amphitheater."

Lake Tustin Coming Soon!

That's exactly what I wanted to hear!!!

After watching Pacific Rim, I told my kids the government builds giant robots in those hangers.  Now every time I pass that area, they tell me to take them inside.

Ha ha, that's a good one.

One of the hanger are going to be demolished right?  Or they change their plan to keep both of them?

The District is one of the most poorly designed shopping centers ever.  I feel bad for those shops near the movie theater.

I've gone to that shopping center about 30 times, and only been in that movie theater area 1 time.
