I think there was some collusion... there's always some covert agreement in everything... politics, business, crime... etc.

(in Russian accent): So I know this hacker group...
(in orange tan accent): Huuuuugge!

:)

I don't even know why I am bothering but the Mueller report is pretty damning IMO but because of the lack of firm conclusions, everyone can take what they want from it.

Trump was saved by 1) his own staff incompetency in trying to collude and 2) people refusing to carry out his order to obstruct.

There was no way that Mueller would recommend a criminal charge without speaking/questioning Trump because there is no other way to get to intent.  Trump would have fought it for years and then plead the 5th.

For a guy that has the best memory in the world, Trump answered that he didn't remember 36 times as to specific details in writing.

Nothing will happen to Trump...no collusion

Told ya!

Whether something will happen to Trump is still to be determined.

There was definitely collusion...Trump's campaign was just too stupid to do it right.

By late December 2015, however, Cohen was complaining that Sater had not been able to use those connections to set up the promised meeting with Russian government officials. Cohen told Sater that he was ?setting up the meeting myself. ? On January 11, 2016, Cohen emailed the office of Dmitry Peskov, the Russian government?s press secretary, indicating that he desired contact with Sergei Ivanov, Putin?s chief of staff. Cohen erroneously used the email address ?Pr_peskova@prpress.gof.ru? instead of ?Pr _peskova@prpress.gov .ru,? so the email apparently did not go through.

"no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case"

sound familiar?  ;D ;D ;D

Yes because it is next to impossible to prove intent.

I'm glad that you are happy that the President was not a direct Russian agent but ignoring the rest of the report.  But hey...make rich people richer!

I would also ask the conservatives on this thread, how would you feel if this was Obama or Hillary rather than Trump?  I know as a Dem, I would be embarrassed and saddened, not celebratory and jubilant.

I mean..this paragraph alone is incredible damning:

Instead, the Mueller report makes clear, Trump's "efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful" ? but only "largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests."

Basically, Trump is not being charged because the people under him were not willing to commit crimes for him.

We also have numerous examples of the administration lying to the public and that the President claims that he couldn't remember anything, rather than straight out denials.

let me explain why we are celebratory and jubilant - the entire media and democratic establishment has been pushing lies and slander for over 2 years, with the intent to damage an innocent man who completed the greatest upset in political history.  it's the ultimate underdog story, where against all odds, trump won.  the people will see through this farce that the media perpetuated for the past 2 years and it will push independents further and further into trump's camp.

now, if the obama doj is found to have started this whole thing as a political tool to defeat trump, would you feel embarrassed and saddened?  we shall find out with the oig report next month!

Yeah...you are cheering for an individual who was trying to obstruct justice but just failed at doing it.  What a proclamation of innocence and competency.

obstruct justice, yet he complied with every step of the investigation...which was based on collusion that never happened....wowza!

He didn't!  He told people to do things and they refused.  Had they done those things, it would have been obstruction of justice.

He also refused to be interviewed by Mueller and then provide a bunch of nonsensical written responses.

Pretty straightforward now after what?s come out despite redacted parts ...

1. Russia interfered
2. They did it to help Trump
3. Trump wanted their help
4. Trump's campaign met with the Russians to seek out that help
5. Trump and his campaign repeatedly lied about those contacts
6. Trump fired the FBI Director to stop an investigation into the matter
7. Trump appointed Barr to help cover it up
8. Trump's attorneys have prepared a 35 page counter to Mueller's report which exonerates Trump. Who counters a report that exonerates them?

If I took 3 friends into a bank to rob it but once I got there I was the only one holding out a gun (my friends bailed), I still tried to rob a bank. Same thing with Trump. He directed his staff to obstruct but they didn?t follow his orders. His intent was clear.
