Terrazza vs Legado

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Both are pretty far from grocery stores, no?

Also location of Legado now might seem middle of nowhere but that might change once Great Park is built out.

Why is that? Beckmann High School is great too. Purely optics/perception?

Isn't Orchard Hills the "Bel Air" of Orange County, even with (excellent) Tustin schools?

How do I see what colleges these schools fed into?

Legado will go to Portola Springs High School, not Northwood...

Colleges fed into? It's up to the individual

Sorry poor choice of words. Which colleges have accepted kids from Beckman... That info is out there somewhere right?

Regarding to college acceptance, here's some interesting info.

For Beckman:http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php/topic,11784.msg232127.html#msg232127

For IUSD:http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php/topic,11784.0.html

Wow, based on this, Beckman actually has better representation at the Ivy League schools.  Feel bad for the Asian IUSD kids that are going to IVC.  They won't hear the end of it from their tiger moms.

Found some interesting info on Northwood HS vs. Beckman HS.

Orchard Hills School is a 5 minute walk from Terrazza. The school is slated as a K-8, but is currently used for grades 5-8. Hicks Elementary is the current K-4 school for Terrazza which is approximately 1.5 miles down the road. But, I've heard that Orchard Hills School will fully expand to K-8 beginning school year 2017-2018. Hopefully, my sources are credible. We shall see. Terrazza is also walking distance to the Orchard Hills shopping center that has plenty of eateries, bank, Montessori, coffee shop, etc...hopefully a grocery store sooner than later). Terrazza is also located next to the largest park in the area that contains a large open field, full court basketball courts, beach volleyball, and a playground. The 2X homes in Terrazza, located on Stockyard at the top of the community, really are in a great location. I've driven through Strada (Love Plan 3/3X) and through the Groves(Homes 1.5 Million - 3.5 Million) and homes located on a single loaded street are far and few between. Hopefully all this helps... I took a chance and purchased a Terrazza 2X in a very early phase and could not be happier with my decision...I'll be here for the next 20+ years.

That helps a lot, thanks!

We won't be able to wait for the final phase, which is when I think the single loaded street homes will become available.  I'm sure they'll also cost a pretty penny more so not sure that works for us. Sounds ideal though!
