We've been there for 5 years now with our kids and would never even imagine something like what you experienced happening. I'm so sorry for your experience.
We're on the wait list there... very impressive and the director seems very strict (we were verbally chastised for being a few minutes late for our tour). So you really think calling them will work? I'll try later today..

She was so stressed at the school that she started losing her hair. Long story short, my friend talked to a lawyer to sue, but was advised not to. The daycare/school had parents that were lawyers and they could probably prolong the fight and make it very difficult and costly for the lawsuit. My friend contacted every outlet he could think of to complain/file complaints. It just doesn't seem like there's a governing body that could help them. Is there a governing body that oversees daycares?

Is a strict director a good director? My wife and I went through the pre-school selection process over the summer and if a director had chastised me I would have ended the tour right there. That doesn't strike me as a good way to start a teacher/parent relationship.

We were late.. I didn't like it of course but what can you do? Strict director is important to me as it reflects on the teachers and students, unlike my current preschool.
