And what does calling me lil whatever achieve? Name calling is a tactic for someone who can't come up with anything better... as is making false accusations. You're just digging a deeper hole for yourself... you should stop while you are behind.

I know this is not addressed to me but I do feel you want me to answer your questions, so:

You forget the origin of this whole fracas which began with kaos posting a ?snowflake? argument regarding John Wayne name change .  How credible was that argument ?

After reading the whole interview do you still think  John Wayne deserves his name on an airport ?

Again, that's now what I was commenting on. I was not saying he deserves it or not, I was just saying that your post made the interview seem different than what it was.

I have posted the full link of John Wayne?s interview which is actually even longer than what was pasted on screen . John Wayne comes off as a racist in my book , maybe your interpretation is different .

Again, I do agree that he comes off as racist. But, at the same time, I'm trying to add context to it because there is some truth to what he is saying. Does that mean I'm racist? Or that I'm trying to be fair in my assessment of comments made almost 50 years ago.

This is 1971 we are taking about , not 1951 or 1931 . A lot had happened by this time to make people realize their follies of the past when it came to discrimination

Really? 1971 is still a time when being PC wasn't even a thing. Discrimination was high during this time or why else would the interview touch on that subject?

John Wayne is not the least bit apologetic and actually wears his views proudly . But ?

?White supremacy ? is not open to context and misrepresentation. If people think this is not racist enough , then I guess I can say it says a lot about people?s own viewpoints than the supposed ?credibility ? . 

Devil's advocate... could it be he was using it as a reference to "supremacy" as to the percentage of whites in college and in business, not the term "white supremacy" as we know it now?

And I could be wrong, but again, I'm trying to use time frame and context. Today we obviously see it as racist, but in 1971, what kind of backlash did he get for this interview? If it wasn't enough to prevent the County Board of Supervisors from naming the airport after him in 1979, that might give you an idea of the climate back then.

We actually do talk about stuff like that. One of the guys is a Trump supporter and they all gang up on him... but at the end of the day, they still play with him because they know he's not Trump.

I have Republican friends also. Some of them call the president uncle Trump. They complain to me about the economical policies such as the tarriffs. But my response is that you voted for him.

I thought he?s technical and the terms need to correct. But how come when I address if he hears someone say Dominos. He doesn?t correct them and say hey it?s called Dominos Pizza. You know why because it?s not racial.

So it?s not about correctness. He?s losing on a lot of arguments. Let?s make a thread and drop racist things. This one he think he?s winning, but in actuality it shows how he?s off the rails. Living in the past and can?t get back to reality.
