Not in Irvine, but might be worth the drive...

Remember going to the Tustin grand opening a few years back and was fed very well for free.  Demos everywhere and I recall everyone is invited (no membership needed on opening day).  Mobs of people but not as bad as Pasadenas Night Market.

You should check out the Golden Corral next time you?re up in RH
Insane crowds this past opening weekend.

We're thinking about buying a franchise

Is that the place with the chocolate waterfall? I've seen commercials for it. You totally should buy a franchise!

Yes, I believe so.
We drove by and the crowds were insane.
Made the Night Market crowd look tame.
I wish we could afford one, the place is a cash cow

Just got the invite at work, the special preview is actually on Tuesday, May 1st from 6-8pm.  Serving appetizers, all are welcome.

Wanna buy a Donut/Chinese food Franchise??  :)

All That BBQ is gonna be a Korean BBQ, next to Ranch 99 in Culver Plaza (used to be a jewelry store)...  Too bad for people exiting 24 hr or that weight loss center and inhaling Chinese and Korean BBQ combo aroma.. can't resist... must eat again...

Anyone know what they are building in the parking lot near Target in the Marketplace?

I noticed some framing has gone up but not sure what''s going in there

As always, I'm hoping it's going to be an exciting and delicious new restaurant. But how much do you want to bet it's a bank? That's all they ever build lately.

Chase?

You're right, it is Chase Bank! Boring, boring.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot looks like it's open.

I still prefer Koki's (we now go to the Tustin location).

Anyone tried Little Sheep?  We bought a little sheep hot pot mix at ranch 99 recently and wasn't too impressed, heavy curry flavor, stunk up the house.

So now I know why they are opening a Red Robin in The District... they are closing the one in The Marketplace.

The comments in the Register are funny... they all hate the parking/traffic at The District.

I live really close to the District. I never frequent the Marketplace anymore. After a few years I got the parking and route of travel all figured out. To visit a different store I have a different route and exiting strategy. The parking is still a nightmare but I learn to go behind the loading dock zones across the back to avoid surface road traffic. Avoid the Costco gas station all all cost. I consider going there like playing a video game ostacle course but with life action.
