There is a market for all types of income and economic level. People will buy what they can afford. A wide array of products in every neighborhood exist for that reason. Biggest is NOT the solutions to your housing need. You got to play the long for housing. Do the math for the biggest home and when you get the annual property tax and monthly HOA with gates for those biggest home it will end up eating you alive.

Telling people to buy the biggest is an ill-advise.

Remember, I showed that even at the height of the worst of the economic crisis in 2008, the average sqft price of the entire city of Irvine was still standing at ~$297/sqft!  That is a testament to the power of the TCE kool-aid, I mean, marketing prowess of the Irvine Company.  ;D
