Not if Measure E passes, then it's about $400/year

"Parents, teachers and staff who spoke in favor of the measure gave several examples of why it is needed: Classrooms at Brywood Elementary School need doors; a teacher at Lakeside Middle School expects to lose more ceiling tiles when it rains the next time; orchestra practice at Irvine High School takes practice in the computer lab."

Come on people, let's give those poor Brywood kids some doors in their classrooms.  Will someone please think of the children.....

my point exactly! $400/year to send your kids to a top notch school district? bring it on. This is nothing compared to what I pay in child care cost a month

F$&*k that. IUSD should have been budgeting for capital improvements all along. Teachers love this because more money spent outside of budget for buildings means more money for salaries. No more tax hikes.

+1  I'm tired of tax creep.  "It's only $x more per month."  Yeah, a few bucks more per month for each of my bills, raised every year.  Before you know it, your bills have gone up 50% in 5 years, and that's just the small stuff.  Special assessment this, special levy that.  F$&*k that, indeed.

Market has spoken......... poor choice for flipping this former Hawthorn plan 2 model which was purchased for $500 per sq foot:
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/143-Pavilion-Park-92618/home/80161229

Contrast with the larger plan three model next door which was purchased (apparently to keep, not flip) for $430 per sq foot:
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/145-Pavilion-Park-92618/home/57104811

No wonder the flipper can't sell it. He/she should be happy to sell it for what they bought it for and cut their losses.

Finally sold it. Doubt they made a dime on it after their cost to sell and carrying costs.

A few more like this should be good for PP comps.

$533 per sq ft.  I'll sell :)

I know this thread is for Irvine properties, but this Tustin Ranch listing was begging to make it into this thread.  Bad enough the price is about $400k too high, but not taking cell phone pictures...wow oh wow...
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Tustin/2990-Sleeper-Ave-92782/home/4764647

Mutated blinds, missing light bulbs and overgrown house plants with the mismatch of furniture were all the best highlights!  ;D
I think people just put their house "up for sale" just to see if there are any takers. If I was retired and bored I would do that.
Thanks for the entertaining listing

Check out the stickers on the fireplace in picture 6.  Nice.

Ronnie, they're magnets.  A few of them are photo magnets.  I thought it was creative since you can't put magnets on today's stainless steel refrigerators.

I was more amused by the exercise trampoline.

That's Ronald to you.  I don't think these are all magnets, I'd bet a couple of them are stickers.  How do you know these are all magnets?

Check out the flags on the bottom of the hutch in picture 3.  Looks like a Chinese and American flag, flying together in perfect harmony.

Particle board Ikea Billy bookcases and $12 torchiere, check, cheap Vietnamese living room furniture, check, outdated texbooks, check, knock off VHS tapes, check.  Strange, I threw out this stuff when I moved out of my old apartment 15 years ago and somehow it all ended up in this house. Damn PRC dumpster divers.

Can probably dump most of the items into the garage *gasp*, and de clutter the house and make it so much more presentable
