How do you guys feel about the M3 in Austin Yellow? My cousin just bought this, I don't know how I feel about the color - it's a bit "flashy'" no?

I don't think it's too flashy, after all the car it self is pretty flashy.  I don't really care for the Austin Yellow that much since it sort of reminds me of Grey Poupon, I think the Yas Marina Blue looks better.

Is it bad to say the color reminds me of a Pimp's gold front tooth  ;D

Just in case you guys haven't seem it, this is probably USC's next car. :)

Porsche GT3-RS 500 horsepower, 338 pound-feet of torque, 3.1-second 0-60 mph acceleration time and with a base price of $176,895.
450x253
The guys on Rennlist were all over that earlier today when the car got released.  I'm not a big fan of the 4 available colors.  The only way I would buy new would be if I could get a custom color (PTS).  Otherwise I'll wait to buy it used.  I'm a bit more excited about the GT4.  If I do pick up an RS too, I'll have to buy myself a house with a 4-car garage.  haha

@the GT3RS - Let's see how quick the price jumps on this car.  Seems like the 918 owners get first pick.  When paying nearly a million for a car, what's another $200k for a car to speculate a market with.

Look at the prices for the GT3RS 4.0!

@USCTrojan - you think the 991 will depreciate that far?  Do you have any knowledge about production numbers?  Were they less than the 997.1 and 997.2?  Look into that Crystal Ball of yours and tell me when they will reach $80k. I will start saving today.  Even if I bought at $80k and was forced to sell at $60k - $20k in depreciation would be well worth it!
Yeah, the price of the 997 RS 4.0 are into the 400s (more than double the MSRP).  Lower mileage 997.2 RS 3.8s are trading at or above MSRP.  As for the 991 GT3, there are a lot of guy who bought a 991 GT3 until they could get their hands on the RS (some may even move on to the GT4) so I expect that you'll start seeing a lot of 991 GT3s getting sold in the next 6-12 months.  By this time next year, you'll be able to buy a 2014 GT3 for around $100k.  I believe they produced more 991 GT3 than 997 GT3s combined.  The 991 GT3 might hit the $80k in about 24 months from now.

Truecar results for both Avalon Hybrid and Hyundai Genesis are trending really low.  Anyone notice with other cars?

I thought you bought the Avalon hybrid months ago. Didn't you get a low quote from a dealer?

Btw- Gas prices are rising.

Thinking about buying the Tesla Model 3 for use as the daily commuter car / beater when it's released in 2017'ish. However, the sooner the better. If it gets pushed back, as they often do, might not wait around for it.

i want to get one of these to go to Target.

... and put your Target purchase WHERE?

When I go to Target for 1 THING, I always leave with $300 worth of crap.

it would be for a one off item. would carry a backpack. yeah definitely not for the normal weekly trip.

Got a 2015 Lexus ES 350 loaner car while getting our recall fixed.  A nice ride, and it has more leg room than my full size avalon!  Wife loves it, it passes my leg test (first car I remember where all the way back is too far for me), got rid of the easily fried touchscreen, 3d Nav, blind spot indicators, might look into a new car again......

For those minivan lover here, if the typical minivan is not manly enough, here's one for you.

Only wish it has a bat symbol decal on the door instead. :)

Not bad, but if I was going to buy an SUV I'd much rather buy something like this...The Marauder...

I think Paris is planning her next vacation to South Africa to pick up a new Marauder.

Not into the Large slow type - more like small, light and lightening fast  ;) And I prefer a bit more refined European over Rugged South African  8)

The lack of the wood and leather trim option was a deal breaker, huh?  haha  This car would be great for being able to handle of the terrain of undeveloped land to get some great spy shots of new developments.

It might not be the best vehicle for taking covert photos of new developments.  ;D

What about something that is both large and fast?

Like BMW X5M, BMW M6, Mercedes GL63 AMG, Mercedes S63 Coupe, or Qwerty.  :)
