NBA 2014-2015

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
yeah between kobe and swaggy they will be pushing 60 shots a night. ive only seen one laker game this season and will watch Swaggy's return, he may actually have more shots than kobe.

Yesterday on ESPN710, MoMo and Mason were talking about which free agents the Lakers should be considering.

MoMo said instead of Rondo, they should be looking at Reggie Jackson and instead of Aldridge, Greg Monroe.

I like Reggie over Rondo, but I think Aldridge might come to LA. He already lives in Orange County, might as well be a Laker.

Kobe just had breakfast w/ Rondo...  Rondo is currently 28~29.  he has around 3 good years left.  this is perfect to match with Kobe.  Reggie Jackson is a good player.  But Rondo is much better player with court vision and heart of champion.

nobody can play with Kobe, especially a PG. Kobe dominates the ball too much and will render Rondo useless.

Yep.

As long as Kobe is a Laker, they can really only use a PG who can play off the rock and is a solid defender. Lin is used to that style of play because of Harden but not Rondo. Reggie can do it because he's not ball dominant.

Here's my take: A lot of people/players/nba analysts thought Kobe was washed up/injured that can't play ball due to his past injuries. Obviously this season Kobe proved them wrong. So the free agents didn't want to take the risk of coming to a team with an injured Kobe. Also, Lakers management didn't make a run on other decent free agents last summer. (Such as Isaiah Thomas, Lance S., etc...) In addition, if I was part of Lakers management, I wouldn't have drafted Randall. Didn't Randall have a foot problem that was talked about during the NBA draft?

Regarding other free agents: 1. Melo made the wrong decision to stay in NY.
2.Shouldn't the CAVS be the #1 team in the nba with 3 superstars and a stacked bench? (As of now, they are not)
3. Bosh decision to stay in Miami, let's say it was about the money. The heat is not a top team - right now.

So let's say end of last season Kobe healthy, the Lakers had role players, and a good bench. I bet one of the Super Stars would of came. (Melo, maybe Bosh)

Miami started off bad the first year of the Lebroncision. Cleveland will be one of the top teams after All-Star break,

I think it's less about Kobe's ability and more about his attitude. That's why Dwight left (rumored).
