Are there any "liberals" here, or just folks who find Trump's daily behavior despicable regardless of political issues?
I vote for the least worst candidate in every election. Living in Irvine, CA, that most often means voting for Republicans.
Which begs the question, who is the least worst Congressional candidate for our district? Mimi Walters or Katie Porter?

Try the "rule of thirds" (not photography). 1/3 of the people will be honest with you even if they have to be rude, 1/3 will be politely honest with you but may not tell you the whole truth, and 1/3 will be dishonest.

Paul Ryan has a spine! And, he's actually concerned about his character and legacy, somewhat. Republicans can't let the extremists rule, any more than the Democrats can let the extremists in their party rule. You can represent your outlier districts, but you shouldn't control the nation's agenda.

Everyone wants a free press. No one likes a biased press. If someone was to produce a stack of tapes from NPR culled over the past 3 years and at random drew out 1 hour of "news" I could cite at minimum 30 examples of bias by their reporters during that hour. It's the hostility by the insulated press towards a consuming public that is the primary cause of this present debate.
The first major break in press trust I believe was when Time, et al spiked the Monica Lewinsky story to protect their favorite son. Drudge blasted it out and internet news grew geometrically from there. To our benefit or detriment? Pretty hard to say. It's best to enjoy greater transparency and let opposing viewpoints be heard, but not so fantastic when all we seem to get today are shouting matches and Hitler analogies.
