I guess mask only work from the inside out? That is what the media/government tell you and this is the common rebuttal. How about you apply some logic and common sense? I?m not telling you not to wear a mask. Go ahead.
I?m fully vaccinated, got a booster. And I?m still supposed to wear a mask? And if I don?t I?m actively putting you in danger??
What?s the next step, criminalize going outside if you have Covid?
It's not what media/government tells you. It's what science tells you.
Oxygen particles and the virus are actually smaller than those tiny holes in the masks. So while wearing a mask can help prevents the virus from passing through, they still pass through.
So then, how do masks help protect others from you if you have COVID? When you cough, sneeze, talk or breathe, the respiratory droplets get caught inside your mask since these droplets are bigger than the holes. In the same sense, wearing mask does help you if someone near you not wearing a mask coughs or sneezes, because it can catch the respiratory droplets on the outside of the mask. However, once the virus goes airborne, it is no longer attached to the droplets and can penetrate a mask.
Basically, wearing a mask would help preventing the virus from going airborne.
