Aliso is a very nice community. The commercial centers can be crowded on the weekends, but aesthetically it is a nice community.
 
<p>A local developer on the space coast, not one you'd know of. advertised a `13% to 25% "temporary" sale. Actually, with the 25%, you probably'd not be doing too badly. The lowest offering is $178, which is chump change out there, but pretty expensive here with our extremely low salaries. You could probably get some other inducements to go along with the lower prices.</p>

<p>Lennar is doing its all houses to be sold in 30 days thing, with 2 weeks left. Strangely enough, the ad is all in black with pictures of the houses, and past and present prices of the offerings embedded in the blackness. . It looks very unappetizing. It looks like a death announcement, actually.</p>

<p>They advertising in black out there?</p>

<p>2425---How are they squeezing 4 bedrooms in less than 1200 square feet? All the rooms must be tiny.</p>

<p>I was going to say, sorry for it being off the topic, but it's a loss and it's outside of Irvine, 'waaaaay outside Irvine, so maybe not off topic.</p>
 
One of the reasons that the inventory is moving is because of the affordability factor. The second factor is more or less psychological. What we are seeing is a 25% off sale. People who been waiting for a while are buying now, simply because of the 25% off. I personally think, it’s nothing but a “Bear Trap” . We are still way off 2003 prices and the rael correction is yet to come.

<p>I think that the pictured houses, and most of IR's posts are just what would be slightly ragged mid middle class housing here in Florida. Just not very interesting in themselves. That house is totally boring and it wouldn't be interesting even if you painted it pink and purple stripes. I don't think even my architect daughter could funk it up.</p>

<p>After a while you just get stupified at the humongous prices. There isn't one listing shown on any of these posts, which I consider even close to a normal price, even in over priced Miami, for the rest of the country, save New York City or Boston, or, I guess elsewhere in California.</p>
