The second one is a short sale.

And it's also underneath the flight path and is within the Kaiser Middle School district (considered not as good as Mariner's Middle School down the street).

kaiser first off is an elementary school, not a middle school. grades 3-6, iirc.

api is 885 at kaiser, versus 930 at mariners. is that a meaningful distinction? (it is also ~885 at newport heights elementary, btw)

and kaiser is much more diverse, 40% minority, versus 10% at mariners. it is also more economically diverse. so it depends what you are looking for in an educational experience, i would think, as to which one is "better"

Don't worry, 885 or 930 api, they all smoke the same pipes similar to the ones from no_vas pictures. :-)

My point was not to debate the merits of which school was better... my point was of the general perception of both schools. Being in the Mariner's district is definitely a big selling point for folks and adds up to significant money.
