Long Beach (Live in the LBC)

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I have been watching this disaster unfold for quite some time now but this last price cut makes this hit just staggering.

What is the large building directly to the left on the aerial view? That would likely have a big impact on desirability of the house.

Well, gee, that rules this property out for me.... I wouldn't spend that much on a house next to "multiple family housing" (even if I had the money, which I don't, but ya gotta have standards after all...)

mabye we need another catagory "out of TheOC RE"?

did you see the POS that REinLBC posted today that went for half a million clams? That has to rival the Dr.HousingBubble awards

If we do can we move this one or do we have to start over? Where is ElBee? He needs to get over here.

Where do you think this one goes out the door at? The owners are incrementally, excruciatingly moving the price lower every other week. This is like a slow, back wards auction. Where will the gavel drop?

My guess would be $725k-$750k assuming they have enough equity to go that low. <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P -->

Yeahh...? But in a good location... well, it'll be the same size as our one-bedroom IAC apt...

Wow, I know that little house - the LB serial rapist struck there about 3 years before he was caught. Want to know how I know that? Look at the left side of the picture - at the roofline next door. That was my first house.

No clue. I didn't find out until a few days after I bought my house - it was definitely an eerie feeling. She was a much older lady, and a renter at that. Half of Eliot is owned by the same woman. She was like the slumlord of the block. I'm surprised to see her parting with this one. (oh yes, the only time I ever went in, was to see the renters kitten. To my surprise, there was a small mushroom growing in the floor.... yes, IN the floor in the corner of the bathroom. Besides the "ick" factor of the lack of cleanliness, I still remark at that "am I really seeing what I THINK I'm seeing" sight.

wow, troop, thanks for the info... what year did the rapes take place? The house is worth about $250k, to me... I need another $200k of additions to make it livable...
If I recall, that was a F&M owned trust sale. They may NEED to dump it
An F&M foreclosure? Now that's a rare occurance.
